An easy solution to fix this issue is picking up a pair of BBK Performance O2 Wire Harness Extension Kit. BBK designed these 12 inch long extension kit with OEM factory connectors to make it a simple plug and play install when you need to reconnect your sensors.

Application. This set of two 12 inch BBK Performance O2 Sensor Extensions are designed to extend the front(upstream) O2 sensor harnesses on the 2011 to 2014 GT Mustangs equipped with the 4 valve 5.0 coyote engine.
