        Improves Horsepower. This BBK Cold Air Intake kit completely replaces your 5.0L Mustangs restrictive stock air box and paper filter with a high flow BBK filter assembly for a noticeable increase in horsepower and throttle response all while providing filtration of harmful power robbing dust particles. The BBK CAI pulls cooler denser air from inside the fender well to make more power you can feel.

        Reusable Filter. BBK designed the air filter to be reusable. So no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

        Chrome Finish. The BBK CAI not only improves horsepower and throttle response, but improves your Mustangs under hood appearance with a strikingly beautiful chrome finish. You'll be sure to win all the car shows with this jewel under the hood.

        Application. This BBK Cold Air Intake Kit is designed to fit 1986 to 1993 5.0L V8 equipped Mustangs, including the LX 5.0, GT and SVT Cobra models.Installation Note. Please note that 1986 to 1988 Mustangs that are not equipped with a factory Mass Airflow Sensor Housing (MAF) will need to use the included BBK Speed Density CAI Adapter Kit for proper installation.

          This product looks awesome under the hood

          I ordered a off brand first and wasn't satisfied so I sent it back! Ordered the BBK cold air and wow! It came with everything I needed, looks awesome under the hood! Installation was a little tricky, I would recommend starting with the filter first then working your way to the throttle body! It took me and a buddy about an hour! So when I took it for a ride after installation the power is very significant and sounds great, u get that whistle of power ! Very pleased!! Thanks American Muscle!

          Great intake

          I would recommend this intake. It was a very easy install. It looks good under the hood. I don't think it add very much power but my engine runs smoother and reacts better to throttle input.

          Great modification!

          For some time, i had plans to replace the stock air intake housing on my 1987LX 5.0. I had planned on purchasing the K&N brand, but BBK's product came with the speed density converter. Easy to replace, bolted right up. I like how the intake draws cold air from the fender well. I'm not certain how many horses I gained, but I definitely notice a change in responsiveness when I hit the gas. Thanks BBK!
