Popular Tire Sizes for this Wheel
Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m checking out the AMR wheels fitting all 2005 and newer Mustangs available in your choice of either gloss black, silver, and charcoal. These concave multispoke design wheels have quickly become a fan favorite and are a good option for a Mustang owner who’s looking to take a break from the standard 5 spoke wheel design, typically found with a Bullitt or Cobra style wheel. The lightweight aluminum AMR’s are offered in several different sizing options, including an 18, 19 and 20” diameter, and an 8, 8 ½, 9 and 10” width. Because there’s several different sizing options, you can easily stick a wider wheel in the back with a more narrow one up front to help you achieve that classic muscle car stance known as staggered fitment, or on the other hand, you can put the same width wheel on all 4 corners, which will give you a standard fitment and allow you to properly rotate your tires in the future. To give you a better idea of how these wheels might look on your own ride, we outfitted some of the cars here in the shop with the wheels, starting with our 2011 GT behind me, which is equipped with the 20” version in charcoal, our 2013 back there on the lift is sporting the very sleek 18” AMR’s in gloss black, while finally our 2000 V6 back on the Dynojet is rocking the 19” version in silver. Of course you can purchase these wheels by themselves if you’d like, however the smart move would be to take advantage of one of our pre built tire and wheel combinations, where we pair your new AMR’s up with some of the top performing tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of that, you get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing, and free shipping and handling. Finally, all AmericanMuscle wheels are backed by a 1 year warranty on all finishes, and a lifetime structural warranty. When you receive your new set of wheels and tires from AmericanMuscle, you’ll find that installing them is just as easy as ordering them, you’ll first want to make sure the car is on level ground and then crack the lugs loose before you get the car in the air, after that, jack the car up and swap out all 4 wheels and tires, and that's it, you can easily do all this in your driveway in about an hour’s time using some basic hand tools and a floor jack. These AMR wheels have become more and more popular with Mustang owners everywhere, and after seeing them on our own cars here in the shop, it’s easy to see why, so be sure to check out a set for your ride, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

Great look and smooth ride. Small flaw (looks like a chip into the rim) on the outside of the rim is the reason for 4 stars. Paint covered it.Helpful (0)

They look great but plan for other upgrades.
You'll need new lug nuts as the acorn lug nuts wont fit well without scraping the hole for the lug. I love the look but now I will need to get a big brake kit and lowering kit as it did raise my car about an inch. I posted before and after pics for reference.Helpful (0)

These wheels are awesome. Fitment is perfect and look really sharp with my all white s197. If anyone is concerned about how wide you can go in the rear, i fit 305's in the rear with no rubbing or issues at all.Helpful (0)

amr 20x10 wheels
The wheels look great with 315 35-20 tires on the back. I have a 2014 Mustang GT and it's set the rear of the car off and filled the wheel wells very well. The only problem I had was that I had to call around to find a place that could put those size tires on the wheels for me. I actually had to take it to a speed shop for them to do it regular Pep Boys or Tires Plus and places like that said they couldn't do itHelpful (0)

Will these wheels and tires fit if I lowered 1.5 in front,1.5 rear Ok, I want to lower my mustang 1.5 in the front and 1.5 in the rear, will these fit perfect without rubbing?
Definitely! This wheel and tire package will fit without any rubbing or clearance issues up to a 2" drop.
Why is the tire size different for the back wheels? Why not do 35 on all 4? (2) Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z III 255/35-20 (2) Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z III 285/30-20
If the 285 series tire had an aspect ratio of 35, the rear tire would be significantly larger than the front and your speedometer reading would be highly inaccurate. The side wall on the 255/35 is 89.25mm. The side wall on the 285/30 is 85.5mm. If the 285 was a 35 series, it's side wall size would be 99.75mm.
Do they ship with the tire already on the rim?
What would be a good tire size if I wanted to install and air suspension kit? What would be the maximum drop length?
Our recommended tire size for this wheel on 2005-2014 Mustangs is 285/30R20 with up to a 2" drop. Any other sizes are going to depend on the drop.
What is the biggest tire you can fit on a 10 inch wheel?
On a 20x10, you can fit as big as a 325 safely. In regards to an 05-14 Mustang of which this wheel is designed to fit for, the rear can only fit as big as a 305, if it's lowered at all up to 2 inches, only as big as a 275.
This kit is designed for 05-14 Mustangs and will not fit your 2015 GT. Instead, check out this kit here, item number 385510, that is designed for your 2015 GT: https://www.americanmuscle.com/blackamr-20in-2015-sumitomohtrziii-stag.html
2.5" diameter center caps would work with the wheels.
These wheels will be painted with a clear coat on them.
We are unable to guarantee wheel and tire fitment after a 2" drop. You will most likely rub some with that set up
These would have fitment for the 2010 V6 with no further modifications. You will need to have the speedometer calibrated to read correctly with the larger wheels and tires.
Yes, these wheels will clear the brembo brakes.
The AMR Wheels will include our "AM" Center Cap.
A 305/35/20 will fit on a 20x10 AMR Black Wheel with no rubbing issues.
Simple installation for anyone.
