Improves Traction. You're going nowhere fast if you can't "hook up" off the line, that's why BMR Suspension designed these Mustang Rear Lower Control Arms to provide better traction, quicker launches, less wheel hop and as an added bonus improved 60ft times.

Spherical Bearings. These BMR control arms use greaseable 90 durometer spiral fluted polyurethane bushings on the chassis side and feature Teflon lined HD spherical bushings on the axle side. The result is great traction during straight-line acceleration and predictable grip during hard cornering.

Boxed Steel Construction. Made in the USA from TIG welded heavy duty boxed steel tubing for superior strength, BMR completes their Rear Lower Control Arms with a black hammer-tone powder coat finish for durability and good looks.

Application. This set of two BMR Suspension Rear Lower Control Arms with Spherical Bearings are designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for all 2005 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, and Shelby GT500 models.

      Lower control arms

I just purchased the BMR lower control arms. Item 390558 . I also purchased the BMR red pan hard bar. 100 disappointed. My Mustang sounds like it grinding the faster I go. After 1 day Off they came. Its all drive train noise that's transferred without the rubber bushings. 1/4 mile drag strip yes. daily drive no way. Sad news now AM wont buy them back and I have to eat them. So buyer beware.

Review from BMR Rear Lower Control Arms - Spherical Bearings - Red (05-14 All)

      Great product!

Really helps with launching, definitely would reccomend this upgrade over factory control arms. Even without the adjustable, it still is a product you can't beat.

Review from BMR Rear Lower Control Arms - Spherical Bearings - Red (05-14 All)

      Amazing launch now

These eliminated the wheel hop almost to nothing! After installation launches could not be any better you feel the mustang just go! Tires stick right to the street and the mustang flys. Great for the track. Only down part I wish it came in blue to match my other mods I have underneath my mustang.

      BMR lower rear control arms

Love the control arms only complaint I might have is the extra noise transferred through the chassis of my car from the spherical bearings

BMR LCA'S ARE awesome. These were installed along with my FR 3.73 gears and Steeda enhanced BOSS Diff cover, and RP 75w140 Max Gear by the Diff guy at my ford dealer due to where I live. I figure get it done right the first time. As far as NVH I really can't tell it's hardly even noticeable with the radio off. These are a must upgrade from stock especially for a diff gear change out. BMR has good quality products. I also have BMR Weld-on Subframe Connectors.

      Installed good and looks good

I installed the Lower Control Arms with the Relocation Brackets, Lowering Springs and Adjustable Panhard Bar. The install went smooth and the outcome turned out as I expected. I enjoy the ride more when I need it to.

      Good value for cost

the LCA installed with no problems and are nice and sturdy. 60' times dropped about 2 tenths from the stock LCA. would recommend LCA.

Thought spherical bearing would be great and more solid than the poly, and they are, but after I installed them they were great! Rear end felt extremely tight and eliminated ALL of my wheel hop that was greatly increased from my 4.10s. But after about 2,000 miles the spherical bearings developed some slop which made the rear end almost feel like there was something loose. Clunks over bumps and makes me feel like I am driving a beater. Emailed BMR and they said that is normal for spherical bushings. If I would have known that I definitely would have just got the poly bushing set. I regret this mod the most, wish I could go back and get the poly ones.

      good product

awesome no more wheel hop on hard launches, pretty easy install. well made product. slight ride noise increase but nothing to be concerned about, should be covered up by my next exhaust purchase.

      Impressed ...

Previously owned a supercharged S197 and knew from experience I was going to need a quality set of Lower control arms. Started doing my homework and after comparing price and product came upon these from BMR. Knowing the companies history I knew the fit and finish would be top of the line and I was correct. I chose these due to the fact they had the spherical Bushings for better articulation. They are a little bit noisier than the ones with polyurethane bushings on both ends so know this before purchasing. They do transfer some road noise and amplify the bumps a bit. These were a breeze to install. For those installing for the first time the polyurethane bushings go towards the front of the car and the spherical bushings obviously face the rear. The directions included fail to detail that. Don't forget to grease the bushings!
