        2 Top Rated Questions

After watching the BMR upper control arm install video, it appears the stock mount can actually be removed without having to drop the gas tank. If this is true, can the BMR mount be installed without having to drop the tank as well?

        • The OEM mount cannot be removed with the fuel tank still in place. You would need to drop the fuel tank to remove the OEM mount. We apologize for the confusion on this.

Will this and 2010 design adjustable UCA fit a 2013 mustang v6? my friend had ordered it for his 2010 model and now he is planning to sell his car, so if it can fit 2013 mustang I would take it from hi.

        • This BMR Rear Upper Control Arm Mount and upper control arms will only fit the 05-10 model Mustangs and will not work with your 13 V6.

Review from BMR Rear Upper Control Arm Mount - Red (05-10 All)

Great Product - Easy to install

Product is well made - quality is excellent. This provides a solid base for the upper control arm. I installed together with BMR adjustable upper control arm as my car is lowered 2" in the rear. Easy to install in the driveway. You will have to drop the gas tank to successfully install this.

BMR Rear Upper Control Arm Rescue

The quality of this BMR product is exceptional. Once you remove the stock unit it will be obvious to you as well! This replacement mount along with a new upper control arm from BMR gave me new back end to my senior girl (13 years and 123K). She's better than new now!

            WARNING!! Bad torque instructions!

Be warned! The installation instructions have incorrect torque for the two exterior bolts! BMR states to torque these bolts to 110 ft-lbs. THIS IS INCORRECT! Ford spec is 85 ft-lbs! I attempted to torque one to 110 and snapped the head off! Stick with ford torque spec unless you want a huge hassle!! Otherwise, great and well built part. Quality BMR construction as always.

            Much Needed Item

Got this to go w\ BMR adjustable UCA as it makes sense to upgrade the UCA mounting bracket along w\ the UCA to strengthen the rear axle. This bracket is very heavy and solidly built so you know the UCA mount isn't gonna be flexing around under load which will enhance the UCA's performance. Install was straightforward and time consuming but the payoff is well worth the effort!

Review from BMR Rear Upper Control Arm Mount - Red (05-10 All)

            Feels Tight!

2008 GT. Lowered about 1 inch with Ford Racing P springs, Billstein shocks and struts, Ford Racing GT500 front control arms, and Moog outer and OPR inner tie rods, with Moog sway bar links. The BMR upper and lower control arms, both non adjustable, plus the BMR differential bushing seems to work well, and makes the car feel even more planted. I don't feel the wheel hopping side to side anymore on hard accleration. The upper conrol arm, mount, and the differential bushing also got rid of this crazy loud clanking I was experiencing due a worn OEM differential bushing. Overall, it's a good buy. Cheaper than stock parts yet better performing. I'd recommend.

            08 GT500

This is a well built piece, highly recommended. I broke my other aftermarket upper control bracket from Metco, bad design, the center bolt was barely hanging on, this could have been ugly!!

            Well built

This control arm mount is 100 percent better than the stock flimsy mount. Definitely recommend.

            Good strong piece

This piece is much beefier than the OEM part. If you're already doing the upper control arm, you might as well do this while you're at it to save time.

            Bmr upper mount rules!!

Best upper mount out there. Beefy and structurally sound. If your drag racing or road racing this is a must for pinion angle adjustability. Goes great with all the bmr products I just purchased for my 07 mustang.

A must if you replaced the factory UCA

At first I thought it wasn't going to really matter when it came to replacing the UCA mount, but when I added the BMR UCA the rear end began to clunk even more. After replacing the factory mount with the BMR one, I literally have a silent rear end again, along with this assisting the new BMR UCA I have, the rear of the car feels much more planted. Definitely worth every penny.

            Big upgrade from stock!

When you think muscle car, you think power. When you think power, you hope that the suspension/mounts can hold up. This mount was built for power. You can tell this was built to take a beating just by looking at it! Very big upgrade over stock. Install was involved to say the least. You have to lower the fuel tank just to install. You will need an oversized T50 Torx to remove the fuel tank if your vehicle has addressed the recall and I HIGHLY recommend at least a 18" socket extension for this install! Makes things MUCH easier! Just take your time, read through the installation prior and make sure you have everything you'll need to tackle the install. Also, might as well upgrade the UCA while you're there because it's a P.I.T.A. to get it into the mount.
