    High Performance Engineering. If you are planning on adding even more power to your 2009-2014 Shelby GT500, this Centerforce DYAD DS Twin Disc Clutch is a must. Centerforce engineered their DYAD Drive System (DS) Multi-disc Clutch to handle extreme power, while still operating smoothly with little noise or chatter. Drivers do not need to manhandle the clutch pedal, but instead can treat it like normal and expect smooth engagement in return, making your Shelby incredibly well-suited for casual driving. A steel flywheel and ARP fasteners are included, and the Clutch comes preassembled to make installation as straight forward as possible.

    Patented Design. You cannot get another Twin Disc Clutch like this one. It comes with a patented ball bearing pressure plate, which is key to its smooth operation. Also vital is the patented multi-disc floating disc and drive disc design. Each component is precision balanced, delivering performance you can count on.

    Excellent Longevity. This setup is built to endure quite a bit and last for the long term. It has a torque capacity of 1300 ft./lbs. at the flywheel. In fact, the Twin Disc Clutch is made to boost durability, which otherwise could be an issue with added engine output.

    Sprung Hub Discs. Centerforce Clutches were engineered with sprung hub disc centers. A sprung hub helps dampen gear rattle and allows for smoother engagement with light pedal effort. This not only provides excellent driver control, but increases the longevity of your Mustang's transmission; when compared to standard rigid center hub discs.

    Steel Flywheel. The included Centerforce Flywheel was CAD/CAM-designed for excellence and precision CNC machined to strict tolerances from Billet Steel. This 10.5" Centerforce Mustang flywheel features a ring gear of 164 teeth and a eight bolt main pattern.

    Kit Includes. This Centerforce DYAD DS Twin Disc Clutch Kit comes complete with a Pressure Plate, 26-spline Friction Discs, Floater Plate, 8-bolt Steel Flywheel, ARP Bolts, Alignment Tool and Pilot Bearing.

    Recommended Upgrade. It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.         What's the break in period on this clutch?

        • We would recommened a 500-1000 mile break-in period of easy driving when doing a new clutch.

        Why won't this kit work with the 07-08 GT500?

        • The Centerforce DYAD DS Twin Disc Clutch w/ Flywheel Item 389897 was designed specifically for 09-14 GT500's, however we do carry this Centerforce DYAD DS Twin Disc Clutch Item 389896 ( for 07-08 GT500's.

        • Unfortunately, the Centerforce DYAD DS Twin Disc Clutch w/ Flywheel kit does not include a hydraulic cylinder.

            great clutch

            easier to put in than to take out. Very quiet and smooth in operation. Excellent grip yet very controllable.

            Center force days clutch

            Still in the break innprriod but so far so good. Pushing about 750hp at the wheels so hoping this clutch is a good match. Very smooth between gears thus far.

            First off the break in time is more like 1000 miles. I was worried that something was wrong at the 500-600 mile mark but getting to the 1000 mile everything fell into place and it feels right. The pedal feel is great and the clutch GRABS. I like the clutch but it takes a little getting used to. One problem is starting from a stop going forward and in reverse if you don’t give it a good amount of gas it does this weird shudder thing. Besides that it’s well built and very solid.

            Very pleased .Along with close shifter. Seems like another car. Light peddle, shifting is amazing. Really feel the power. 760 hp,and over 700 lbs of torque at the rear wheel.

            Center force DYAD Clutch kit

            Packaging was awesome. The clutch literally looks like a piece of jewelry. Everything you need including the fly wheel. Still going through the break in miles.

            Excellent craftsmanship

            So far it's been great. Engages sooner then stock. Still breaking it in. I like the fact that it came with ARP hardware. I've worked with several clutches and the craftsmanship on this one is very good compared to others. Once this clutch is installed, installing the transmission is a lot easier then it is with the stock unit.

            Good clutch

            So far it's ok. Not sure if it will hold up with the amount of Hp I'm pushing as it doesn't seem to be as "heavy duty" as my last one, but we will see.
