Hey everyone, I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m taking a look at our AmericanMuscle GT500 Style Wheels for your 2005 and up Mustang. GT500’s have always been one of the baddest Mustangs on the block and now your ride can enjoy the stylings of the 2010 GT500, thanks to these split 5-spoke wheels. The wheels are available with 3 different finishes, including a black painted finish, a triple dipped chrome finish, or a black machined finish. As for the sizes, the wheels are available in either an 18” diameter with an 8 inch front and 9 inch rear, or a 19” diameter with an 8.5 inch front and a 10 inch rear. Staggered fitment is cool for a couple of different reasons. First off, it looks awesome. A wider rear wheel not only improves your stance, but also helps get that power down to the ground thanks to the wider rear tire and contact patch. Not only that, it also makes for more responsive handling as well, thanks to the narrow front tire. It’s a win-win. Now, you can purchase these wheels without tires if you want; however, the smart move would be to take advantage of one of our wheel and tire combos that pair your new GT500 style wheels up with some of the better performing tires on the market today in sizes that are guaranteed to fit without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. Not only that, you also get to take advantage of our free shipping and handling, free mounting and balancing, and optional nitrogen fill. Remember, you 2007 and up folks have to keep in mind your vehicles are equipped with a TPMS sensor. This means a tire pressure monitoring system that needs to be addressed when ordering new wheels. These aluminum AM wheels are extremely durable, but if you ever encounter any problems, every rim features a lifetime structural warranty, as well as a one year warranty on finish, you can’t beat that. There are very few mods on the market today that can change the attitude of any ride like a new set of shoes. These AmericanMuscle wheels are sure to offer the modern aggressive stylings that look great on any Mustang.

Awesome set of wheels for a great price.
So to start off the actual experience of purchasing the wheel and tire set was great. Perfect customer service and the sale guy who’s name was Nate I believe was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my question quickly and correctly as well as point out a couple things to me I didn’t know. No the wheels themselves are awesome there are no imperfections on the chrome just a little scratch on the very edge but that’s most likely from mounting they are lighter than I expected but that doesn’t mean the are light weight though. Once mounted on the car I can say I’m in love they look great and was exactly what I wanted very satisfied there. One thing I kinda didn’t like too much but not a biggie at all. I got the staggered set up but I didn’t realize at first that the rears has a lower profile than the fronts which at some angles looks a little weird but unless you are staring at them like I was when I got them all this a little weird. I also wish an invoice would of been shipped as well to with the wheels but that’s just me. The balance on the wheels came in perfect that was awesome and having American muscle install the tpms before shipping them to me was great and free of charge I love it. I would recommend these wheels and tires to anyone looking for a great look at a price where you don’t have to take out a second mortgage and they customer service was great.Helpful (1)

Look great, but cant balance them
These wheels look killer on my 06 gt but I have had incredible difficulty getting them balanced at a few different shops. They came from AM "balanced" with the Sumitomo wheel combo but were way off. I still get significant wobble at 68 to 75mph despite 3 rebalances. I know you get what you pay for but I thought I could at least get a balanced wheel and tire combo as a baseline. Not sure I would purchase again because of the balancing issues.Helpful (8)

Perfect fitment and look
I had intended on putting 18x10 wheels with a 43mm offset all of the way around (Forgestar/Apex) to eventually fit big brakes, but I couldn't justify dropping $1300 on wheels, so I ordered this 18x9/18x10 staggered set from AM. They fit perfectly, and I'm running 255/45-18 Continental DWSs up front and 295/40-18 Nitto NT555s out back. Balanced easily, looks fantastic, rides as good as factory, and weighs less than the factory wheels to boot. I'd definitely buy these again.Helpful (10)

2010 GT 500 rims
Great looking rims and tires. I get frequent compliments on them. Can't beat the price either.Helpful (11)
these 18x10 wheels, what is the off set for them?, planning to put em all around.
The 18x10" 2010 GT500 Style Chrome Wheel has a 45mm offset, and will not fit in the front.
Hello if I install two rear wheels like this one on 2009 Mustang GT (The 18x10 "2010 GT500 Chrome Style Wheel has a 45mm offset) and installs a tire like this one, (305 / 40R18 NITTO Extreme NT555R Radial Drag Performance) https://www.americanmuscle.com/nitto-nt555ramm.html, will the rear tires go out of the wing, or be equal to the edge of the wing? And if the tires come out of the wing, how many millimeters will they come out? thank you
This wheel with the recommended 275/40/18 tire size would sit flush with the wheel well since you are planning on running 305/40/18 tires, it would stick out past the fender about an inch (25mm) or so.
Looking for another set of rims that will clear the ford performance Brembo front brake kit. I just bought a new set of staggered fitment FR 500 Rims And from what I understand they will not clear the brakes that I need. Would love to stay with an 18 inch rim. Or do I need spacers to get my new FR500s to clear???
The Ford Performance SVT Front Brake Upgrade Kit is going to use the same brakes at the 07-09 GT500s. So for that brake kit, you would just need to make sure the wheels you are looking at will fit the 07-09 GT500s. For wheels like the FR500 style wheels, you may need a small spacer for proper clearance.
what is the power wrench offered and do I need a special socket If I purchase this staggered wheel, tire combo will I need a special socket. What is the power wrench offered:
I found that when I tried to use a cross bar to install my wheels, the holes for the nuts were too small so I used a spark plug socket and it was thin enough to fit right into the slot. I hope that helped.
