Improves Power And Performance. Unlock the power hidden within your EcoBoost Mustang by replacing the conservative factory settings with a more aggressive calibration. From the factory, the manufacturer programs their vehicles to cater to the needs of the daily driver, not the performance enthusiast. But after loading a Cobb Accessport pre-configured "Off The Shelf" (OTS) tune, even a bone stock, unmodified Mustang will see Peak Gains of 24 RWHP / 87 RWTQ and Curve Gains of 47 RWHP / 88 RWTQ.

Performance Calculator. Measuring your Mustang's 0-60mph ET, 60 foot, 1/4 Mile ET and Trap Speed has never been easier. The Accessport accurately estimates your vehicle's performance with the help of a built-in dynamometer. This allows you to measure performance gains before and after vehicle modifications.

Virtual Gauges and Shift Light. Using the live data from the OBD-II Diagnostic port the Accessport can be used as a Virtual Gauge to monitor from one to six different parameters at once in real time. Users can even set custom RPM warning lights for perfect shifts every time.

Data Logging and Monitoring. With a full color high resolution LCD display, the Accessport V3 Tuner makes it easy to read and record multiple data channels simultaneously for in-depth evaluation of engine performance. The Accessport can store up to 10 hours of data directly from your vehicle's PCM/ECM.

Diagnostics. The Cobb Accessport V3 Tuner can also be used as a diagnostic code reader. Save yourself hundreds of dollars each year by reading and clearing your own trouble codes rather than paying a dealer to do the same. Its as easy as a few simple steps.

Easy To Load; Easy To Restore. When you load a tune on your EcoBoost Mustang, the Accessport tuner automatically stores your vehicle's factory settings. To return the vehicle to its factory settings, just plug the Accessport back in, select the option to restore the factory settings, and you're done. The Accessport can hold up to 100 different tunes

Application. The Cobb Accessport V3 Tuner is specially designed to fit the 2015-2019 EcoBoost Mustang's that is not equipped with Active Exhaust.

Can i apply the stage 3 settings if I have a mishimoto M Line intercooler, MBRP catback race exhaust 3'' in. downpipe, and a roush cold air intake?

        • Yes, you will be able to do that with those mods.

Would I have to keep the tuner plugged in at all times even after I install the tune or is it just a one time plug in?

        • Once the tune is downloaded you can unplug the tuner.

This says 15-18, but I wasn't aware that there was any changes from 18 to 19. I have a 19 ecoboost, will this still work with it or are they still figuring out programs for the 2019? My car is a Performance Package with Active Exhaust option. Planned upgrades are a C L cold air kit, Mishimoto intercooler upgrade, and a 3" catted downpipe along with (hopefully) this tuner.

        • At this time, this tuner has not been confirmed to work with the 2019 models.

I have a 2018 mustang which has the “mode” toggle switch that can switch it from normal to sport, track, drag etc. Once having the tune set up I do I need to use the mode switch at all? For example if I had the tuner on eco mode but I switch to sport mode on my car would it damage anything?

Hi Appreciate your last answer that I can "access" the ECU, but can I change the oil pressure switch setting from switch to sensor?

        • We have not come across anyone needing to do that, and do not believe that you will be able to do that with this system.

            So far 1 misfire

Well had it a couple of weeks with the Stage 1 tune and 1misfire. Gonna change the plugs to the NGK LASER IRIDIUM Premium. Hopefully that will do it. Please leave a comment if you know what will solve the misfire. I give it a 4 Star because the tune is awesome. More power than I thought. I have the AirRaid MXP Cold Air intake, FlowMaster Outlaw axleback exuast for mods.

Paid for new, was sent used

I paid 562$ for this and I received a scratched up and used accessport in the box, not a brand new one you would expect. If I wanted a used one I could’ve bought one off eBay for 300$. The product itself works fine and made the car feel a lot better with the adjusted parameters.

            Good Gains!

Very satisfied with the Tuner. Very easy to download. Estimated HP from the Tuner is hitting at about 370 and about 375 lbs of torque. Running a CandL intake with a Flowmaster Axle Back Exhaust. Stage 1 tune w/ 93 octane.

An Honest Review by a 22 Year Old

I have literally been looking at the Cobb Accessport for 8 months.. contemplating if I should drop $550 or not. Last week, I finally bit the bullet and did it (I'm cheap). This car actually pulls hard now. Very big difference from stock all around. I am measuring 330hp and 380tq on the estimated hp and torque gauges on the Stage 1 93 octane tune. Other than the cobb accessport, my car is completely stock. I can't wait to order the intercooler and cold air intake from cobb and run the stage 2 tune. I just want more and more power now, I think I have caught the mod bug. My car rips and it scares my girlfriend lol.. I am so satisfied, I always keep it plugged in so I can monitor engine knock and temperatures. WHEN YOU BUY THIS TUNE I would slap your car in sport mode (and track mode if you have it) and use the paddle shifters. The torque is pretty sick and feels strong and powerful. Obviously not GT but it ain't that far off, let me tell you. Going to keep modding from cobb (only cobb parts) until I reach stage 3, then I will probably chill lol. So just buy the tuner already bro, I know you're constantly looking at reviews so you can see if it's worth $580. I promise you.. it is. Happy modding!

            Feel the power

The reason I went with the Cobb tuner over all the other is because more tune shops use this platform than any other. It’s worth the extra $$$ to go with COBB.

            Cobb stage 1

Easy to use and by far the best tuner on the market. I now have over 100 gauges to choose from and six on the display at a time with a shift light. Burn outs are perfect and the two step feature is always nice at the lights!! Thanks to this little guy I’m on my way to 450hp.

            2015 EcoBoost

I love how it doesn't fall on it's face at higher RPM's now and having a 2 step is too much fun, I only wish it could be turned on with the cc buttons instead of having to use the AP. My Miles to Empty also dropped from 320mi till E to 246mi to E w/91 octane stage 1 tune. I won't go back to stock tune unless it's having warranty work done, it's a completely different car now..

It’s amazing to know this easy to use tool can load software that really changes your car for the better, makes you wonder why the factory, or the ford performance tune, are so conservative.

            Awesome for the Money

Cobb does not stray from their level of perfection with this device. Absolutely does as advertised on my 2018 Mustang Ecoboost. If you're considering making a purchase, this one certainly does as advertised.

            Torque increased drastically

This accessport REALLY changes the way the 2.3L performs. I'm talking the amount of torque you feel in higher gears at lowers speeds and lower rpms when you get on it really makes the difference. Instead of having to downshift, you can punch it in 3rd gear at 25 mph and just feel how it lays into the power band increase. It's not just a tune though, the additional features for when you let your irresponsible friend drive you mustang such as "valet mode" and "anti theft mode" make it fun to prank your friends when they think they're going to "lay into it" or "take it for a spin around the parking lot/around the neighborhood" when you leave the keys in it. This thing is amazing.

            Amazing HP gains

First off my initial thoughts after installing the accessport with the ots stage 1 91 tune is the change of the shift points. This is an improvement from stock and makes a huge difference. Then there's the HP and Torque gains that are very noticeable. The cobb accessport is a great tool to have and gives you the opportunity and range to totally change your performance whether it be off the shelf or custom tuned from someone like Adam (tune )

I went straight for the stage 2 because I already had bolt ons...took a couple of miles for tune to fully kick in. When it does you know instantly. Ran a 13.4 in the 1/4 at 110 with some simple bolt ons. 10/10

            Nice Power Increase!

I installed this with an AEM drop in filter in the stock air box. Used the stage 1 OTS tune for 93 octane and it really woke up my daily driver Ecoboost Mustang with 10 spd auto. Most noticeable is the low end torque increase, with a mild increase to high RPM pull. Also seems to have more turbo noise. MPG has dropped by about 2 but that might be because I’m into the gas more! Loving it! FYI, if you’re installing this on a non PP ‘stang, go ahead and update the firmware on this device before you attempt it! It might save you some frustration and a phone call to Cobb.

5 stars if you have newer than 2018

The device is great and provides dozens of more data points than any SCT device you will buy. This really gives you a leg up for determining what your care is doing and tuning capabilities. With that said, all of the special functionality (Launch Control, Bump Box, Burnout Mode) are not present for a 2018 model at the time of this writing. Unfortunately, I did not know this until afterwards when reading deep into their documentation. Hopefully a firmware update introduces these features SOON as its part of the reason why I switched to this device from an SCT device. Performance gain all depends on the tune you use. I cannot vouch for the canned tunes that come with the device as I have a list of custom parts on my EB and I am using a custom tuner for my files. Performance gains are in line with tunes I received on the SCT device. In fact, I would say they are more reliable due to the data points this device provides my tuner.
