Awsome upgrade

Had the shop install this and noticed an immediate diffrence in the way the car drives. The stock driveshaft is 2 peice, heavy, and vibrates. My only regret is I didn't have this installed sooner.

Is anyone planning on making a DS for 2015-2017 V6 manual Mustang? I searched the internet high dry. All I could find is one for the V6 automatic. It's silly that there are DS for every other model and transmission mustang. Except the V6 MT.

Tainted

  • At this time we have not heard word from any of our manufacturers that a V6 manual transmission driveshaft is being developed.

    Oops

If you swap to a Ford performance loaded diff, buy the GT fitment. Otherwise the rear adapter is a hair too small.

    Excellent craftsmanship

My 2015 Ecoboost Performance Package had a "dead spot" in the power band in 6th gear at 50mph where the engine felt overworked even on flat roads. This driveshaft made that part of the power band usable, besides improving acceleration and eliminating that flexing and annoying clunkiness from the OEM 2 piece driveshaft. 22 pounds lighter may not sound like much, but the car accelerates faster. My driveshaft did have a drone/vibration at 60mph which was cured by unbolting the driveshaft from the spacer and turning it 180 degrees as per manufacturer's instructions. Some people complained about extra noise, but they're missing the point. This ds focuses on performance, unlike the oem ds which was designed (and somewhat failed) to reduce nvh at all costs. A 48 inch long aluminum tube will inevitably pick up some drivetrain noise, but the mustang's well soundproofed cockpit will have no problems stopping it.
