The Exedy Grooved Mach 600 Stage 4 Clutch can handle the abuse of your heavily modded Mustang's engine without fading and delivers quick engagement for time-saving shifts.

    Grooved Pressure Plate. Featuring a unique grooved pressure plate, this Exedy Clutch offers more holding power than their standard smooth pressure plate equipped clutch kits. Exedy has machined grooves directly onto the face of their Pressure Plate which is designed to increase the "mean effective radius", which in turn increases the torque holding capacity of the clutch - perfect for high torque Mustangs.

    Street and Strip. Exedy's Grooved Mach 600 Stage 4 clutch is designed to be the ultimate strip ready, streetable clutch. A Stage 4 will handle up to 600 ft-lb of torque without breaking a sweat, while delivering the kind of crisp engagement and pedal feel you need to win. The Exedy Grooved Mach 600 is perfect for the no-compromise enthusiast who wants quick engagement in their high performance Mustang, while still keeping it street driveability at the same time.

    Premium Quality. The Exedy Grooved Mach 600 Stage 4 clutch features a cerametallic disc for great durability and quick engagement. This kit also features Exedy's high clamp grooved pressure plate for maximum performance. And all of Exedy's discs feature spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock and to protect your transmission from wear and tear.

    Application. This Exedy Grooved Mach 600 Clutch is designed for 2011 to 2017 5.0L GT Mustangs with a MT-82 manual 23-spline transmission.

    It's recommended that you add an SR Performance Braided Stainless Steel Hydraulic Clutch Line during your new clutch install. Stock plastic clutch lines can fail during aggressive driving. Stainless steel clutch lines help prevent gear lockout and provide superior clutch pedal feel, even under the toughest conditions.

            Great clutch

            I get this clutch because my stock clutch was no match for my 315 Toyo R888s and I had the dreaded shift lockout. Clutch feel with the assist spring removed is not too bad. It’s a little stiff when sitting in traffic but not enough to cause clutchitis. Engagement feels perfect and there has been to chatter except when trying to start off on a slope but easy to manage with a little more throttle and not trying to slip the clutch. More or less be ready to engage the clutch fully with a little more throttle and it is fine. No issues being able to handle the 315s now and my lockout issues are completely gone. I can redline 1st and 2nd and no issues where as before if I hit redline in first the clutch would stay on the floor until the Roma came down and I couldn’t shift into second. I have driven a couple Mustangs with dual disk clutches and I think the feel of this clutch gives you more “feel” and feels like it engages better. Install took a little longer as I had an issue with the x-pipe.

            It shifts a lot better and high rpm lock out does disaapear amazing clutch and recommend to anyone bot to stiff feels like oem maybe a slight increase In pressure only concern is a tiny hissing sound when engaging other than that 5 stars

            Solid clutch, so far so good.

            I daily drive this clutch on my 700rwhp Mustang. Pedal feel is a little stiffer and the bite a little harder over stock but still allows enough slip for smooth take offs.

            Great item and will last for a longtime. ITs a stage 4 clutch by exedra groves mach. its a very good company and the items that have are also very good.
