The Flowmaster Super 50 Series Center/Offset Oval Muffler (3”) is designed with high performance muscle cars in mind, and it will maximize the performance of your Mustang by boosting exhaust flow. Because the Super 50 Series Muffler uses the reflection technique, it tunes engine noise much better than absorber-type mufflers. Classic Mustang Sound. By choosing the Flowmaster Center/Offset Oval Muffler, you will avoid the obnoxiously loud drone that can come with other, lower-quality mufflers. Flowmaster has designed a muffler that carefully tunes the sound to a deep, rich growl, maintaining an overall mild exterior sound and resonance. The tuning chamber of the muffler works to reduce interior resonance, while the larger case improves general sound control.

The Super 50 Series Muffler is constructed using fully MIG-welded, 16-gauge 4095 stainless steel for the ultimate in strength and durability. Modifications Required. This Muffler was designed to be used on mutliple applications, as it is not a direct fit replacement part. In order to install this Muffler properly on your vehicle, some modifications to the exhaust system will be required.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. Flowmaster backs their mufflers with a limited lifetime warranty.
Application. The Flowmaster Super 50 Series Center/Offset Oval Muffler (3”) is designed to fit 1979-2004 Ford Mustangs, with the exception of the 1999-2004 Cobra models.
