Increased Torque. If your craving even more horsepower and torque, then the HMS Long Ram Cold Air Intake with Heat Shield is just what you have been looking for. By upgrading you will see an increase of 18 more horsepower and 22 ft/lb of torque at the rear wheels.

Mandrel-Bent Aluminum. The HPS Long Ram Intake features mandrel-bent aluminum tubing with an aggressive wrinkle black finish. Reinforced silicon hoses and stainless steel clamps will hold up to over 100,000 miles before servicing is needed. The Heat Shield and Air Intake are built to factory-installed measurements, so no modifications are necessary.

K&N High-Flow Air Filter. A K&N High-Flow air filter has more surface area than your Mustang’s stock filter. This allows the filter to catch more dust and other particles. Installation won’t trigger your CEL light so you won’t need a tune-up after installation.

No Tune Required. This HPS Long Ram Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your EcoBoost Mustang without the need of reprogramming your computer. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.

Basic Installation. HPS designed this Cold Air Intake and Heatshield to be installed easily with the use of basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for installation.

Not CARB Certified. This HPS Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only.

Application. This HMS Long Ram Cold Air Intake with Heat Shield is specifically designed for use on the 2015-2019 Ford Mustang EcoBoost models.

HPS Long Ram Cold Air Intake

Got this intake for $125 so I couldn’t pass on it. When I first saw the design of this intake I really liked how different it was from the other and affordable. The installation can be done under an hour but I like to take my time and make sure things are right and also it doesn’t require your front bumper to be removed. Materials and finish were pretty good to me for the price I bought them at and I will update a review of what power gains I’ve seen so far.
