      Improve Traction. If you're not "hooking up" off the line then a set of J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms are the answer to your problem. These lower control arms will eliminate wheel hop, and improve traction keeping your Mustang's rear end planted for straight-line traction and cornering performance.

      Height Adjustable. J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms allow the driver to adjust the rear ride height for perfect launches every time. Lower your Mustang 1" or raise it by 2" by using a NASCAR style weight jack system.

      Superior Construction. J&M's lower control arms are manufactured from high strength 2" round steel tubing, making them lighter, stronger, and more resilient to bending than the competitors rectangular or square tubed control arms.

      Bind-free Design. These control arms feature a Patent Pending 3-piece Poly-Ball bushing on the chassis side that incorporates a very hard inner polyurethane ball surrounded by two soft polyurethane outer cups. The axle side features a Chromoly Teflon lined spherical bearing that eliminates any unwanted bushing bind and deflection. The result is great traction during straight-line acceleration and predictable grip during hard cornering.

      Application. These J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms are designed for street or race use on 1999 to 2004 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, and Mach 1 models. Does not fit 1999-2004 SVT Cobra's with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). Sold as a set of two control arms.

        J M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms

        Really well made part, be patient when installing the bushing, take your time. Installed these height adjustable lower control arm to get rid of that 1/2 inch uneven stance on the back and I can tell you that if your car stand on straght ground, you will be able to have all four corners even. Will also be great to be able to adjust height when installing those 305 this summer!!! Thanks AM...

        Great quality, easy to install.

        I can't believe how easy these controls arms were to install. The instructions are quite vague, but once you crawl under the car and start unbolting everything it all works out. My 60 foot times to the tool box have decreased substantially.

        5 2003 GT - Silverstang41 Installation Time: Afternoon

        not sure how long they'll last but they work great new

        install was pretty easy, had to unhook the exhaust hanger mounts to get to the nut on the back side of the control arm bolt, that was the only thing i didn't count on having to do but it was really easy, added maybe ten minutes to an otherwise straightforward install. Needed basic socket set with extension. Only problem was J&M packaged the wrong half bushing in the little bushing pack. its supposed to have four half bushings to go around the two poly ball joints, and one of the four was totally wrong. I called American Muscle who said J&M wanted to personally handle their customer service calls. Both service employees were extremely friendly and helpful and the other bushing is in the mail. this is the only reason I four starred bang for buck, just because i imagine if i ordered a name brand part they would've packaged the right bushing the first time. As i said this was resolved immediately, and as far as the product quality goes, i installed the one arm i had bushings for and it made a night and days difference on that side. The stock one just flops around on the other side in comparison to the new one. The stock bushings are unecessarily large and soft rubber. The new bushings are so much more solid and offer no detectable slop. Not sure how long they will stay this tight but if they stay this way they're perfect. Cant wait to get the other one installed:)

        5 2003 GT - ShawnOD Installation Time: Afternoon

        Love the adjustability!

        The lower control arms are very nice and fairly easy to install. A typical issue when installing these control arms seems to be when installing the bushings into the arms because they do not let the air escape. Otherwise, installation is straight forward. The adjustability is also a neat feature which allows me to easily adjust my ride height in the rear.

      lower rear of car 1/4 to 1/2in ? It says in description that it lowers your rear 1in or raise up to 2in. On the lowering side , it will lower my ride hight 1in from where it sits now? What im looking to do is lower my rear so my car sits level. I have lower springsbut the rear still sits a lil high ccompared to the front. And the next springs that I can buy will make it to low for my liking. So will these lower my car the 1/4 to 1/2 in im looking to achieve in the rear? Thanks

      • yes, if you just need a 1/4 to 1/2 inch it will definitely be enough. it seems to me that it would be more accurate to say they lower the car 1.5 inches or raise it 1.5 inches, i bought these to raise my rear end because my lowering springs lowered the rear more, and it seemed that i didn't get a full two inches of lift out of them, but still plenty higher then it was.

      What kind of HP TQ are these rated for?

      • The J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms do not carry a specific horsepower rating. We have not encountered any issues with these caused by high horsepower.

      Looking down the road at compatibility, coil-over kit compatible? I am looking to eventually put a coil-over kit all the way around on my 04 mach 1 and wondering if and how well these will work with a coil-over kit?

      • Hi, These J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms - Street/Race will work with most coil over kits, Some brand coil overs need specific control arms i suggest checking fitment before you order.
