Improve Traction. If you're not "hooking up" off the line then a set of J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms are the answer to your problem. These lower control arms will eliminate wheel hop, and improve traction keeping your Mustang's rear end planted for straight-line traction and cornering performance.

Height Adjustable. J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms allow the driver to adjust the rear ride height for perfect launches every time. Lower your Mustang 1" or raise it by 2" by using a NASCAR style weight jack system.

Superior Construction. J&M's lower control arms are manufactured from high strength 2" round steel tubing, making them lighter, stronger, and more resilient to bending than the competitors rectangular or square tubed control arms.

Ball Bushing Design. These arms feature a Patent Pending 3-piece Poly-Ball bushing design that incorporates a very hard inner polyurethane ball surrounded by two soft polyurethane outer cups. The result is great traction during straight-line acceleration and predictable grip during hard cornering.

Application. These J&M Weight Jacker Rear Lower Control Arms are designed for street use on 1999 to 2004 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, and Mach 1 models. Does not fit 1999-2004 SVT Cobra's with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). Sold as a set of two control arms.

        J M Weightjacker LCA

I purchased the JandM adjustable height rear lower control arms to replace a worn out set of UPR adjustable LCAs on my 2002 GT convertible. The UPRs used spherical ends links instead of bushings and was way to aggressive for the street and basically shook my car to death as well as wore out to fast. The JandMs with their unique ball and cup poly bushings give a firm, quiet ride without the pounding and rattling the UPRs did. In addition, the adjustable ride height allowed me to lower the rear end for a better look but also improved handling by transferring some weight ratio to the rear end for a more neutral steering feel...less nose dive and understeer. All in all, I'm very happy with the JandM lowers and have since replaced the uppers with JandM for even more control.

        5 1999 GT - Gt2door Installation Time: Afternoon

        Great product!

I bought these to get the extra 1" of lowering to get the car sitting level. They worked great. They seemed to be built well although at full drop the adjustment screw comes really close the the stock sway bar. It might interfere with a larger diameter sway bar. I am very pleased with my purchase.

        Awesome! !!!

This product is awesome, it's true what it says it keeps tires planted to the ground without having too much wheel spin when your taking off, it feels a little stiff but overall a sweet product. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade there rear end. Thanks A.M.

J&M Weight jacked rear lower control arms

This is a great product ! Installation is time consuming, but can be done in your garage. In the end it is worth the work. It make the rear off your mustang completely adjustable. And what a blast... The biggest tip I have for anyone installing these on a GT is drop all the exhaust hangers because you can not get the control arm bolts out past the mufflers with out doing this step and it is not mentioned in the directions. Once again great product and an awesome add on !!

        good arms

the arms are good construction. the only thing that sucked was puting the new bushings in. you almost need two people do put them in. one to hold the bushing and the other to push it in. other then that they are great.

upper and lower? must you get the J&M Rear upper Control Arms to install the lower? or will the lowers work with the factory uppers?

      • The J&M rear lower control arms work fine with factory uppers. I am running the configuration on my 03 GT vert.
