        Nice sound and quality

I feel this exhaust has a great sound with stock cats on the car. If I had a off road h pipe or high flow cats it be to loud for my taste. Car runs great, quality is awesome, I wish they had made the hangers on the mufflers longer it's very tough to get them away from the bumper cut outs because they are so short. I bent the driver side to get some more clearance.

        Worth The Money

The exhaust note is perfect. Not too loud at idle, but sounds great when under load. There is a little drone when cruising around 1,900-2,000 RPM, but once you get past that, it goes away. Not that I mind it, but passengers might get annoyed after awhile. Installation was a breeze. Right side fit perfect right out of the box. The left side had to be adjusted and bent the hanger bars to get the right fit. Might have just been the factory brackets as well. All in all, the sound is exactly what I was looking for and worth every penny.

Perfect Exhaust Note But Kinda Pricey

This system is awesome sounding, exactly what I was looking for: louder, deeper and a bit throaty but w/o excessive rasp, popping and crackling. Fit was perfect (muffler shop said it was a really easy install, $150 btw) but there is some slight drone at 2k, I like it but if you drive an automatic like me, just be aware (and its nothing your shaker stereo can't drown out anyway). If you've got the means, I highly recommend but if you need to save cash, try the Ford Racing 500 Stingers for a similar sound from what I've heard online.

        Excellent Quality

I bought the Kooks exhaust after being disappointed with another company's product. I read multiple reviews about Kooks and was confident I would not be disappointed again, and I was right! The first thing I noticed was that the welds are spot on. This system was obviously made by professionals who take great pride in their product. Every part of this exhaust, from the pipes to the clamps is fantastic. Install is easy (even someone who has no experience with cars can do it), though it helps to have another person who can help you line it up properly. Finally, the exhaust note is perfect. It is quite loud and burbly. It really has a nice muscle car snarl, especially when you go wide open. I have received multiple compliments (from the neighbors even!) and would not hesitate to recommend Kooks over any other brands!

        Great Note

First and foremost the exhaust note is amazing. I have an entire Kooks exhaust system (Kooks Long Tubes, Kooks Catted X-Pipe, Kooks Catback System picture above) The car isn't as harsh as my previous exhaust as it is more of a 'purr' which sounds amazing. My only complaint is the packaging oddly enough which mixed and matched the 'left' and 'right' labels on the piping which made it a little confusing to workout. Additionally, 'left' and 'right' is not a specific enough side labeling technique on a car, use 'passenger' and 'driver.' Regardless, the exhaust note is perfect. Great work Kooks, you never disappoint.

Hey, I'm planning on getting this catback system with the Kooks longtube headers and catted x pipe combo for manual 2009 GT. In the description it states it will NOT work with certain Kooks midpipes. Will this setup work, or does the midpipe conflict? Thanks, Cam https://www.americanmuscle.com/kooks-header-catted-xpipe-0509manual.html

      • The Kooks Performance Cat-Back Exhaust will be compatible with the Kooks Long Tube Headers and Kooks Short X pipe for Long tubes.
