      Description

      Optimized Exhaust Flow. These Kooks 1-7/8-Inch Long Tube Headers feature mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel primaries that maximize exhaust scavenging and improve engine efficiency. The 1-7/8-inch diameter pipes feed directly into high-flow catalytic converters designed to slide onto factory exhaust flanges, preserving emissions compliance without sacrificing performance.

      Durable Construction and Heat Control. Laser-cut, 3/8-inch thick flanges ensure a perfect, leak-free seal, while premium TIG welds resist cracking under thermal cycling. An optional black ceramic coating reduces under-hood temperatures, protecting nearby components and maintaining heat within the headers for improved exhaust velocity.

      Installation. This product installs by unbolting the factory manifolds and mid-pipes, positioning the long tubes with OEM connection points, and securing with supplied gaskets and hardware; basic shop tools and jack stands are required.

      Application. These Kooks 1-7/8-Inch Long Tube Headers with Catted OEM Connections fit 2009–2013 Corvette C6 6.2L models, excluding 427, Z06, and ZR1 variants.
