- How to Install Wheels on Your 1979-2013 Mustang
Hey Justin here with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m checking out Forgestar’s F15 monoblock wheels, available in your choice of either matte black, gun metal, piano black, and silver, fitting all 2005 and newer Mustangs. At first glance you can see the design of the F14 Is more of a multispoke mesh wheel design, which has become extremely popular with the Mustang crowd as of late, which is course due to cars such as the RTR and the 2013 GT 500, both of which sport a variation of the mesh wheel design. These monoblock or one piece aluminum wheels go through an advanced process during production called rotary forging, this greatly improves the strength of the wheel, specifically the barrel, and generally reduces the weight of the wheel itself. The F14’s are offered in a wide variety of sizing options including an 18, 19, and 20 inch diameter, and in 9, 10, and 11 inch widths. Because there are a few different width options available, you can easily achieve that classic staggered look, by sticking a wider rear wheel and tire in the back versus the front, which in my opinion is the only way to roll. Chances are if you’re buying new wheels, you’re going to need new tires, we offer a pre built combinations, where we pair your F14’s up with some of the top tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your car without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. Of course you can also take advantage of our free mounting and balancing, free shipping and handling. Finally, all Forgestar wheels are backed by a lifetime structural warranty. When it does come time to install your new wheels just grab a floor jack and some basic hand tools. You’ll want to crack the lugs loose first on the stock wheels before getting the car in the air, after you do that, jack the car up and swap the 4 wheels and tires. Doesn’t get a lot easier than this, but since there is a little work involved, we’ll call it an hour from start to finish. So if you’re looking to take a break from the standard 5 spoke wheel and you want to go with a more modern multispoke mesh wheel design, then be sure to check out these quality lightweight aluminum wheels from Forgestar available right here at AmericanMuscle.com

Super nice rims !!!
I ordered a set of Frogestar F 14 rims, 19/9 and 19/11 for my 2016 GT,made a big difference in the look. You can't really tell how wide the back tires are from the side, when you look from the back you can definitely tell. Makes it look more aggressive and no rubbing issues whatsoever.Helpful (11)

You will not regret buying these wheels. At first, I hesitated because of the price, but once you put them on your mustang, you'll immediately be glad you did. These matte black F14s look sick, and they aren't like some other black wheels that get lost in the tire, these things stand out, even at night.Helpful (12)

I wasn't too sure if matte black would look nice on deep impact blue. It took me a while to decide whether I would get the wheels or not. Now that they are on the car, I wish I bought them sooner. They look great and everyone loves them including me!Helpful (10)

Don't waist your time with replicas
These wheels are everything I expected them to be. They are perfect quality, lightweight and the finish is mint. I almost went with a different cheaper wheel but decide to just so it right the first time and I'm glad I did.Helpful (11)

Will these 305/30-19 tires fit within the wheel wells on a 2014 GT?
The 19x11 Forgestar F14 Monoblock Matte Black Wheel will be able to fit a 2014 GT with a 305/35R19 at stock ride height, however lowered Mustangs may experience rubbing due to the taller tire height.
Are they concave wheels?
YES WHEELS ARE SLIGHTLY CONCAVED.
Deep Concave Are these Wheels Semi-Concave or Deep-Concave?
These Forgestar F14 Monoblock Matte Black Wheel - 19x10 (05-14 All) are considered Deep-concave. I would encourage you to check out some of our customer photos to make sure this is the look you are going for.
Can I re-use my old TPMS sensors? Would it just be easier/cheaper to just pay the $200 for it from you guys? I don't know much about them and I trust you guys.
Technically, you can try to reuse your TPMS sensors, but on the 2010+ they are valve stem sensors and they tend to break as you are removing them almost every time. I'd highly recommend getting a new set of sensors with your new wheels and tires. This would also allow you to install and re-sync your stock wheels again if you ever needed to swap them back for any reason. If you have any other questions, please feel free to give us a call!
