    More Power! The stock GT Mustang came with an awesome 412 Horsepower and 390 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a Vortech System, you will be planting a ground pounding 605 Horsepower and 473 lb/ft of Torque to the pavement. That is 193 more horsepower over stock!

    Complete Kit. This Vortech Mustang Supercharger System comes with all the required parts needed to upgrade your Steed to a fire breathing beast. The kit features an Air-to-Air Intercooler, 47 lb/hr Fuel Injectors, a High-flow intake elbow, 98mm I.D. MAF housing configured for “blow-through” use and an SCT Programmer with custom Vortech calibration for 91-octane fuel to re-flash the factory ECM.

    Application. This Satin Vortech Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 2011 to 2014 Manual GT Mustang with the Coyote 5.0L engine. It is not compatible on vehicles with an automatic transmission.

    Technical Note. ECM reprogramming will be required when additional aftermarket parts are added including but not limited to MAF meters, cold air intakes, smaller supercharger pulley, headers and exhaust modifications.

    I've got a 2012 Mustang GT and I'm interested in this kit, however my car has the factory strut tower brace. Will this kit work with my car without having to remove the factory brace?

      Most Fun Car

      All in all the Vortech was the best thing I have ever done to my 2014 5.0 Mustang. I need to say I told American Muscle I have 2014 automatic tranny and the rep did not tell me this product is for a stick. Ended up, I had to spend $1600 more for a dyno tune. The car would run without a tune just couldn't rev up high past 1/2 throttle. Regardless of tune the forced induction blows out wide gap plugs and motor will shut down. The dyno people have confirmed this. It was a lot of work to install but the best power application ever. The fit was good with little adjustment. The directions were great. The car lost a little bottom end which had too much stock. I would spin a lot off the line. The Vortech comes on a little slower than a twin screw. Now I can hook up and just keep pulling and never stop. Now it's the best car I have ever driven. I used to drag race. I have the base line kit with colder plugs. The original plugs couldn't handle the forced induction. I don't think I will add any thing else to motor. I have never lost a race on the street. I love to race. I raced three Teslas. They beat me off the line about 1/2 to 1car. But after the start it's all me! The car pulls hard the whole way. The races are short, in town, less than a block. One more thing: forced induction eats catalytic converters. So when the converters broke I thought I blew my car up. The car shook and tranny shifted bad. The check engine light came on. The car had a little miss. I heard a little rattle in the exhaust. Hollowed out cats and the car has even more power. I will have to get cats to smog . The car runs so much better with out the cats. I probably will get after market X pipe and cats together. I'm a mechanic by trade, very good, and for me it took 14hrs to install. Just remember forced induction is different. .

      The good and the bad

      First let me describe my car before the Vortech. Steeda CAI, Boss 302 intake, headers and X pipe, 4.10 rear gears and custom program. 410 rwhp. After the install, 601 at 7100 rpm, red line was 7500 but they were nervous about too much power on a stock engine. Lamotta Performance in Longwood Florida did the work. they are very respected and well known. Final power was dialed back to 566 rwhp. Thats the good. The bad, it took 21/2 days to install. Hood had to be cut and my aftermarket Roush bumper needed a lot of trimming. Overall though, it made great power. Probably could be tuned up to 630 rwhp and it looks good. I would recommend it, but be careful with install charge.
