Performance. This Axle-Back system from SLP features the PowerFlo muffler that uses a "straight-through" design and ceramic-wrapped perforated core for free flowing exhaust performance. The muffler ends in a 3.5" rolled edge slash cut polished stainless tip, that exits in the stock location for great looks and improved performance.

Technical Note. Americanmuscle recommends adding the 2005+ Mustang 304 Stainless Steel Exhaust Hanger Kit from the drop down option above, to provide more strength, stability and a cleaner installed appearance. If you have a 2007 Mustang you may need the kit for correct installation.

        5 2010 V6 - Nathan Installation Time: Afternoon

        Great value, wonderful sound

I researched thoroughly for an exhaust for my V6 Mustang. I wanted a great deep-sounding exhaust that wasn't obnoxious. This was perfect. Great throaty sound, nice rumble. And not noticeable at low RPMs. At higher RPMs, the exhaust can be heard nicely. A small amount of drone inside the car, but nothing bad. I would highly recommend!

        4 2010 V6 - Joshb117 Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Sounds good

It's definitely not as loud as a lot of people make it out to be. But it certainly sounds much better than the stock muffler. It's loud enough to sound good without being obnoxious and annoying. It's a great pick in my opinion.

        Good quailty

Well made and has a nice raspy tone to it but not much price wise great if you have the stock muffler for your 05-09 V6 it’s sounds great but doesnt and much HP

        Best Exhaust for your V6

This exhaust is the best for your V6. It looks and sounds amazing. People are coming by and asking if I have a V8 under the hood and I just smile. If you are thinking about buying the SLP Power-Flo, go ahead and do it. I wish I bought a long time ago.

Hello, I have a 05 v6 mustang automatic and I want to make this car a bit louder than the stock I currently have. Will I need to also replace my stock CAI as well? If so if I purchase "SR Performance Black Cold Air Intake" will that be a good match and will it require a tune?

      • Replacing the factory CAI is not required, neither is a tune. For full potential offered by this item, a tune is suggested.

What’s the sound difference between this and the Mac exhaust?

      • The SLP has a slightly deeper exhaust tone when compared to the MAC exhaust.

Do you sell one for driver side? I wanna order this mod for now but I would like to convert to Dual later on. Just wondering if you guys sell one for the driver side.

      • Unfortunately, we only sell the Power-Flo for the passenger single exhaust. I'd suggest contacting SLP directly to see what they might be able to do for you regarding a driver's side pipe when you convert to duals.

Bought the SLP exhaust a couple of months ago and it has disconnected from the mid-pipe a couple of times to where I have to reinstall it, what might be the reason this is happening?

      • If the exhaust is coming loose or separating, either the clamps are stretched, misplaced, or under tightened.

Ok so I have an 06 mustang v6 with no catalytic converter‘s and there is a lot of raspy sound Is this a good muffler to get so I can get rid of a lot of the raspy sound and still keep the very loud sound be have it sounding good to while being very loud if not can you recommend me to a great option 1 answer
I am thinking about buying this for my 2006 Mustang but am worried about how loud this is. Youtube videos don't give any justice as to how loud an exhaust is. I drive to school at about 7 in the morning, is this going to annoy the neighbors or would I get by. I love the tone of it but I understand it's literally called loudmouth. 1 answer
