Popular Tire Setups for this Wheel
Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a classic Mustang wheel but with a little bit of a twist, I’m referring to our AmericanMuscle.com Bullitt wheels fitting all 94 or newer Mustangs, now available in a solid gloss black or solid matte black. If there’s any one wheel that simply belongs on a Mustang, it has to be the Bullitts, for some reason that iconic 5 spoke deep lip design works so well on these cars, from the classics, all the way to the newer body styles, up until recently your options have been fairly limited, a polished lip with a different color face. Well, now you can add these sinister all black options to that list. Our lightweight aluminum Bullitt wheels are available in a high gloss finish, or a slightly more reduced matte black with a satin clear coat. As for the sizing we’re looking at 17 and 18” diameters, and widths ranging from 8-10 inches. Since these are Bullitts you do have the option of going with that very cool deep dish feature which will give you that nice big lip, all these different options leaves you with a couple of choices, go staggered by sticking a wider wheel and tire on the rear, and if that’s the case you can even exaggerate that stance even more, by sticking a wider deep dish wheel on the rear and a non deep dish wheel up front. On the other hand you can go with a standard fitment by sticking the same width wheel and tire on all 4 corners, which will give you the ability to properly rotate those wheels and tires in the future. You can purchase these wheels by themselves if you like, however if you’re going to need some new rubber to go along with those new wheels, then why not let us do the work for you, we do offer a couple of pre built tire and wheel combinations, where we pair your Bullitts up with some of the top tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your Mustang without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of all that, you get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing and free shipping and handling. Finally all AmericanMuscle wheels are backed by a lifetime structural warranty, and a 1 year warranty on all finishes. Installing a new set of wheels and tires is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, with the use of some basic hand tools and a floor jack. Making sure the car is on level ground first, go ahead and crack those lugs loose before you get the car in the air, once you’ve done that, simply jack the car up, swap out all 4 wheels and tires and that’s it, getting all this done should only take you about an hour from start to finish. Ok, so black wheels rule, we already know this, we also know that Bullitt wheels look great on Mustangs. Put them together, and you have a combination that cannot miss, so be sure to check out a set of all black Bullitts for your ride, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

A budget friendly, light rim for the dragstrip
I used these as a cheaper alternative for a pair of wheels for drag radials. They weigh 54 lbs WITH 275/40 MT S/S dr's. Yea...I would have loved to have a set of Race Stars or whatever else thats pretty to look at but if your on a budget these relatively light wheels are a great alternative.Helpful (0)

Perfect for low cost drag setup
These wheels look good, are nicely finished, balance perfectly and are reasonably light in weight. I got them specifically to use for drag radials on my 2018 GT. They fit perfectly.Helpful (1)

These rims are perfect
I loved the bullitt rims but wanted some gloss black ones that were a little wider so I order two 17x8’s for the front and two 17x9’s for the back to give it that beautiful staggered look. I plan to get spacers to finish off the look in the back.Helpful (4)

Nice track tires
I didn't go for looks on my 2013, so I won't speak to the big gap in your fenders on low profile tires. I do autocross and hpde in my car, and needed a dedicated wheel and tire set, and these perfectory fit the bill! They lower the car a little bit, offer tires that are $50-75a corner cheaper than the 19s I use for street driving, and essentially give you the same effect as changing the gear ratio to a higher gear. For what I need, these are perfect, even Craigslist will have a hard time beating this deal! Plus, they don't look too bad either. 5 stars for the price and practicality, beauty is in the eye of the beholderHelpful (4)

Fits 2015 GT PP
Great. Did about 17 hours of research, tried these tims out for my 15 GT. They fit the rears with plenty of clearance with the PP brakes. Got some Hoosiers on there and I have no complaints!Helpful (9)

Who doesn't love these wheels!
I needed some "cheap" wheels to mount drag radials on and these were much more than I expected. Shipping was fast (and free!) and the wheels arrived in perfect condition. There is a "cover" on them to protect them, even the UPS guy couldn't damage them. The finish is good. Powdercoating was a little light in the lug nut recess, but it's very hard to see once installed. They balanced out with very little weight so they are true. 17's look a little small on my 2010, but these were for strip use only. They look so good I'm considering 18's to replace my current AM wheels-mostly because these are very easy to clean. I bought the 275/40/17 Mickey ET Streets to go with these. There is a ton of room left in the wheel well, I would suggest stepping up to the next size tire with this rim if your looking.Helpful (3)
Hi, I'm looking to improve/repair my wheels and was curious if the center cap shown in the example can be switched out for the tri-pony wheel cap that I currently have on my 2010 Mustang V6. Thanks! BN
Would 315 be good for these ?
A 315 width tire will not properly mount to a 17x9" wheel. We recommend a 255/50R17 for best fitment on this wheel but can size up or down by a few sizes.
Bullit solid black wheel - How does the 30 offset compare to the stock offset? and what is that in inches please?
For the Bullitt Solid Black Wheel - 17x9, the +30 mm of offset would be 1.18" or 5.94" of backspacing if that is easier for you to measure. In comparison stock 05-10 GT wheels came with between +30 to +50 mm offset pending on the size wheel. If you have questions about a specific stock wheel size please let us know and we can assist you further! Our contact information can be found here: https://www.americanmuscle.com/contact.html.
My 2012 has 17x8’s now with 235/55’s.... will these fit with these tires? Or should I go with the 17x8’s. Just thought I can go with wider tires with the 17x9’s..
Unfortunately, 17x9s would be too wide of wheel for the 235/55 tires. The smallest tire you can fit on a 17x9 wheel would be a 245/45 tire. If you want to stay with the 235/55 tires, we would recommend staying with a 17x8 wheel.
Will these fit on the back of an S550 (non Performance Pack)? I want them for drag radials.
The 17x9" Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will not fit in the rear of an S550.
Unfortunately, these wheels will not fit 2015 or newer Mustangs.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will have a +30mm offset and will weight around 27 lbs.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will mount on a 225/65R17.
These Bullitt Wheels are able to re-use the factory lug nuts and most aftermarket lug nuts.
Yes, the Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will come with a center cap.
The factory tpms sensors can be re-used, but it is recommended to get new sensors at the same time as the wheels.
The center caps can be exchanged but these center caps are 2.5 inches. That means that the exchange caps must also be 2.5 inches. Usually not a problem with alot of mustang wheels (center caps) but they must still be checked or measured. Remember 2.5 inch diameter!! Good driving!!
Simple installation for anyone.
