- How to Install Wheels on Your 1979-2013 Mustang
Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a classic Mustang wheel but with a little bit of a twist, I’m referring to our AmericanMuscle.com Bullitt wheels fitting all 94 or newer Mustangs, now available in a solid gloss black or solid matte black. If there’s any one wheel that simply belongs on a Mustang, it has to be the Bullitts, for some reason that iconic 5 spoke deep lip design works so well on these cars, from the classics, all the way to the newer body styles, up until recently your options have been fairly limited, a polished lip with a different color face. Well, now you can add these sinister all black options to that list. Our lightweight aluminum Bullitt wheels are available in a high gloss finish, or a slightly more reduced matte black with a satin clear coat. As for the sizing we’re looking at 17 and 18” diameters, and widths ranging from 8-10 inches. Since these are Bullitts you do have the option of going with that very cool deep dish feature which will give you that nice big lip, all these different options leaves you with a couple of choices, go staggered by sticking a wider wheel and tire on the rear, and if that’s the case you can even exaggerate that stance even more, by sticking a wider deep dish wheel on the rear and a non deep dish wheel up front. On the other hand you can go with a standard fitment by sticking the same width wheel and tire on all 4 corners, which will give you the ability to properly rotate those wheels and tires in the future. You can purchase these wheels by themselves if you like, however if you’re going to need some new rubber to go along with those new wheels, then why not let us do the work for you, we do offer a couple of pre built tire and wheel combinations, where we pair your Bullitts up with some of the top tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your Mustang without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of all that, you get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing and free shipping and handling. Finally all AmericanMuscle wheels are backed by a lifetime structural warranty, and a 1 year warranty on all finishes. Installing a new set of wheels and tires is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, with the use of some basic hand tools and a floor jack. Making sure the car is on level ground first, go ahead and crack those lugs loose before you get the car in the air, once you’ve done that, simply jack the car up, swap out all 4 wheels and tires and that’s it, getting all this done should only take you about an hour from start to finish. Ok, so black wheels rule, we already know this, we also know that Bullitt wheels look great on Mustangs. Put them together, and you have a combination that cannot miss, so be sure to check out a set of all black Bullitts for your ride, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

Classic and black
These rims really made the car pop. Im accenting in black and the rims were the perfect option. They dont seem to appear as dirty as I was afraid that they would. Easy to clean and they roll true.Helpful (0)

After a ride, updated review
Overall appearance for the wheel kit is good, but the quality of workmanship putting it together was poor. In my case, the wheel weights for at least two of the wheels fell off in transit. I put those back on with some automotive grade double stick tape. After a ride out with the car today, I found that several of the other wheel weights had fallen off also. Beyond that, there was adhesive smeared on all 4 wheels from when they were mounted that had to be cleaned off. I like the wheel kit, but I really hate the fact that now I have to pay to get them rebalanced. Part of buying the kit is making sure that you don't have to deal with things like this.Helpful (0)

These wheels just look great
First I just love the look on my 2012 build .I am making over 700 RWHP and running these with Nitto 555 drag radials and they hook surprisingly well even when compared to my drag 15" set up. The wheel has a great finish and I get complements where ever I take the car. For the money I don't think you can get a better wheel for your MustangHelpful (2)

My 2013 V6 came with 17" wheels. What tire size would go with these 18" wheels and not change my speedometer calibration?
Are these wheels powder coated or painted, and is the offset the same front and back?
Will the stock lug nuts on a 2005 mustang gt fit these wheels
I have a 2014 v6 with stock wheels, would the center caps from the stock wheels fit on these?
Your stock V6 Center Caps will not fit the Bullitt Wheel due to the center caps being two different diameters.
i have a 2017 mustang convertable eco boost premium with 18x8 rims size on door spec sticker these are the standard premium rims that come when purchased. will these rims fit my mustang and will i be able to tranfer my tires to them as well thanks
This wheel is not compatible with 2015+ models due to larger brake sizes.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will come with the black center cap that is shown in the product pictures.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel & Sumitomo Tire Kit would be shipping in four boxes and will weight around 45-50 lbs per box.
You are able to run an 18" wheel in the front, however the Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will not clear the Brembo brakes on the front of the track pack equipped cars. To get the same tire dimensions with an 18" wheel as your 255/40r19, you would need to go to a 255/45r18 which will share the same width and overall height. Note that this will have a sidewall that is 0.5" larger on either side of the tire, meaning there will be more tire to wheel, given the smaller rim diameter, but same tire height.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheels in 18x8 weigh 22.6 lbs each
These wheels should be able to be balanced without hubcentric rings. I suggest seeing what a local shop says as to what size you will need. It all depends on how out of balance the wheel is.
You can order 4 at once, but as of right now we do not sell them as a kit.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel can be used with the TPMS that came with the factory wheels.
Hi, These Bullitt Solid Black Wheel can not be used on a 2015+ Mustang because the brake calipers are much larger and these will make contact with the calipers i suggest only using the Bullitt Wheels we have set up for the 15+ Mustangs Here is the link http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-bullitt-wheels-2015.html#
Yes, the AM center caps
