Description
Effective Soundproofing Solution. The SoundSkins Foam Tape is engineered to reduce unwanted noise and vibration inside vehicles by acting as a flexible decoupler between panels and components. It can be applied to areas such as door panels, clips, and glove compartments to eliminate rattles and create a quieter cabin environment.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable rubber closed-cell foam, this tape is waterproof, heat resistant, and self-extinguishing. The foam features a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for secure placement and measures 0.12 inches thick. Each roll’s length varies by width to maximize coverage and versatility.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling or specialized tools, enabling clean, effective application in tight or irregular spaces. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures firm attachment while maintaining flexibility to contour to surfaces.
