    How much does this one weigh and how much coolant does it take? How much does stock OPR weigh and how much coolant does it take?

    • This SR Performance Aluminum Radiator comes with a 30 day warranty which covers any cracks, leaks and other defects from defects in manufacturing craftsmanship.

    Does this radiator fit with the stock fan? Looks like it will put the fan very close to the water pump pulley.

    • The SR radiator is significantly larger than stock and you will lose some clearance with the fan and water pump pulley. This radiator will fit without any modifications; there will just be less clearance. If your radiator support was ever bent or damaged due to a collision or some contact at the track, you will have less clearances.

    do i need to change mounts, hoses, modify abs bracket?

    • No, no, and no. When you hook up the upper rad hose, make sure it has clearance with the alt pulley. I had to loosen the clamp on the engine side, and fiddle with it some to give me a little more room.

    So What kind of Capacity does this Radiator have? I'm building a Stroked 347 Small Block and am looking at a little over 400 RWHP and am obviously going to have to upgrade the Radiator. Wondering if this piece is up to the task. Any info would be greatly appreciated! 1 answer

      Does a good job but no eom replacement.

      My radiator came and the petcock was broken and have to use plyers to remove wasn’t happy about that. I removed my old radiator and prepared for the new one and realized the ccrm or fan control module sitting by the overflow wasn’t going to fit so I had to take it off the bracket and now i have to figure what to do with it (just hanging out by the CAI). It is much bigger so was a pain to get in but besides the module relocation and had to wiretie some wires down to ensure they didn’t hit the serpentine belt I had it in and used the original brackets to hold it in. Once done it did do a good job keeping the car cool and even when at operation temp the fans didn’t really come on since it stays so cool.

      Good looking radiator

      My 94 gt vert was running at normal temp at idle, but in town and on the hwy got real hot. I have several mods on the engine. Everything was working properly... water pump, thermostat, cooling fan. Installed this radiator(fit perfectly) and my car runs super cool! 80mph on the hwy and the needle don't even reach the halfway point! If I run the A.C. on the hwy the temp goes up quite a bit, but it levels off before it gets to the L on normal. I'm going to install the air deflector under the radiator(mine is missing). I'm sure that will keep her cool with A.C. on. Great product and fast shipping!

      Eh...

      Delivery was fast. I actually have a 96 gt which they said it would not fit. So I figured I would have to do some modifications to it. Man were they wrong. It fell right into place. The only thing is, is that it made absolutely no difference in the temperature the car ran. It looks good though.

      Great Value!

      Perfect radiator upgrade on a budget. My car stays much lower on the temp gauge in heavy traffic now. It's a bit of a tight fit with the stock fan on there but it clears the water pump shaft. Would have felt better with a little more padding during shipment but it arrived without dents. The shiny aluminum looks great in the engine bay as well.

      SR Aluminum Radiator

      Bought this to replace my old stock radiator. Fit like a glove. Did not have to move / modify anything. Fired up the car and the temp is exactly where it should be. Great price also.

      SR aluminum radiator

      Replaced my cracked stock radiator with the SR Performance aluminum radiator in my 95 Cobra hardtop convertible. Very quick and easy installation. Engine temp runs cooler. Highly recommend if you want to upgrade your radiator.

      Great value for the price! 3 core for 110 in Arizona. With A/C full blast the needle only goes up to left side of "M" in normal, uses to go to tall side of "L" with stock one. 180 tstat installed

      Result/fit

      had some heating problems at hill climbs mostly,change rad now the temperature is max at the A at normal,easy fit in less than 30 min,takes a lot of antifreeze inside so make sure u got 12l.
