This system will replace the factory manifolds, catalytic converters and H-Pipe to give your ride an awesome, bolt on upgrade. Stainless Works Headers and X-Pipe will greatly improve your Mustang's exhaust flow over the restrictive stock manifolds and Mid Pipe to significantly increase your Pony's horsepower and torque.

    Superior Construction. Manufactured in the USA from 1-7/8" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing for superior airflow, Stainless Works Long Tube Exhaust Headers are TIG welded and feature a one piece 3/8" thick header flange for added strength and optimal leak-free performance.

    Race Car Growl. The included Stainless Works 3" diameter 304 stainless steel X-Pipe not only improves exhaust flow to increase power, but it also adds a crisp raspy, race car growl to the sound of your Mustangs exhaust with its modern merged "X" crossover design.

    What exactly is the difference between factory connect and performance connect and how will this affect my install?

    • The Stainless Power Long Tube Headers w/Performance Connect is going to have a 3" exhaust exit at the end to go into a custom 3" exhaust or dump setup. The Factory connect system is going to step down from 3" to bolt into most aftermarket exhaust systems or the factory exhaust system.

    where does this connect? At the stock over axle pipes or at the mid pipe before the cats?

    Will the flowmaster outlaw catback be compatible with these headers

    • These are not compatible with the Flowmaster Outlaw catback because the Outlaw catback is designed to fit a GT Mustang that is equipped with either aftermarket shorty headers or the factory manifolds.

    What is the difference between this and Item 101825 MPN# M11HDRCATX?

    • The difference is that the Stainless Power headers are free flowing primary tubes and have a finish on them to absorb some of the heat whereas the Stainless Works headers not only are of a mandrel-bent tubing but they have a natural finish and are intended for off-road use only.

    What is the difference between factory and performance connect? The pictures are identical on both listings. I plan on doing the front exhaust install separate from the rear, gt500 rear valance and magnaflow or corsa quad exhaust conversion, then I was going to go for these. what's going to work for me?
