    Features & Details

    • 10 PSI Internal Wastegate Actuator
    • Holds Up to 10 PSI of Exhaust Pressure
    • Flatter Boost Curve That Comes on Sooner
    • Billet Aluminum Construction
    • Locking Collar Cap Design for Quick Spring Changes
    • Ideal for Use with Turbosmart Boost Controllers
    • Fits All 2015-2019 EcoBoost Mustangs
Improves Performance. The Turbosmart 10-PSI Internal Wastegate Actuator for the S550 EcoBoost Mustang controls the flow of exhaust gas to the turbine side of the turbocharger much better, when compared to the stock actuator, which results in a flatter boost curve that comes on sooner with more stable boost and less drop off at the end of the rev range. This creates a more performance oriented car with smoother power delivery and less turbo lag.

Customizable Boost Levels. Turbosmart's Internal Wastegate Actuator can cope with the high stresses and temperatures of high boost applications for prolonged periods of time, and is highly customizable with interchangeable springs for a range of boost levels. Wastegate actuator springs sold separately.

Quality Construction. Constructed from high-grade billet aluminum alloy for durability and strength, this Turbosmart wastegate actuator features stainless steel rods and connecting clevis to help prevent any possible rusting issues. The internal silicone diaphragm is reinforced with Nomex to help withstand high exhaust temperatures.

Application. The Turbosmart 10-PSI IWG75 Internal Wastegate is designed for use on all 2015-2019 EcoBoost Mustang's equipped with the turbocharged 2.3L Inline 4-cylinder engine.

how do i know if i adjust it correctly i seen people say adjust it with two turns some say three and some say four so i dont undestang please help thank you

    • When installing the Turbosmart IWG75 Internal Wastegate, you should adjust the waste gate to have 2mm of preload. Detailed instructions can be found here:https://system.na3.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=266715&c=830533&h=a77443b763a5b6011c7b&_xt=.pdf&whence=

Please specify if the wastegate requires a tune or not. I have read all the reviews and two AM reps say yes, one says no. Very confusing for us owners who have a warranty on our vehicles. You can’t hide a tune from the dealership. Thank you

    • Yes, the Turbosmart IWG75 Internal Wastegate will require tuning for operation!

Am I going to need a tune for this becouse I called twice and they told me I wouldn’t need a tune for it cuz it was mechanical mod but other questions on here say I do need a tune can some one help me out on this

    • Tuning IS required with the Turbosmart IWG75 Internal Wastegate.

I've already purchased this, do I need to buy one of those turbosmart boost controller's as well to make this operate properly. I've heard you can create a "lean" condition, which is NOT good.

    • You would not need to purchase the boost controller, however, we would recommend a tune when installing this wastegate to ensure it does work properly with your Mustang. The boost controller would allow you to dial in yourboost settings instead of adjusting the wastegate itself.

I have a COBB AP running a stage 3 preloaded tune. Will that accommodate for this, or will i still have to get a custom tune for it?

    • The COBB AP tune would not accommodatethis part and you will require a custom tune for this product in order for it to work properly.

      Requires tune

American muscle does not list that this requires a tune!! If you check Turbosmart a website it says in bold letters requires tune. Shipping was fast but description wasn’t accurate.

      Noticable difference

Great price for an essential mod. The only problem is the installation. Removing the heat shield is near impossible.

      Amazing Difference

I should have done this first, the difference in acceleration is freaking awesome. Yes the firewall is a pain in Tha a#and, and make sure that you don't loose the clip like I did, and go ahead and lift the car and remove the tire so you can get the bottom T-bolt without stripping it, trust me just do it.

      Noticeable different

The install was pretty simple, aside from the torx bolt on the underside of the heatshield. But the difference in performance was instant, my car now holds a constant boost at 22.5psi, great product

This piece is a must at COBB stage 3

This piece is a needed part when you get to stage 3 on a Cobb style setup. The low resistance downpipe assists in keeping the flap closed on the stock setup. At stage 2 I was pulling 25-28 psi peak when hammering it. I did a stage 3 and lost peak boost! I couldn’t even hit over 20psi with the stock actuator. As for preloading the rod the instructions call for 2mm adjustment. I brought out my dual calipers and measured out that 2.5 turns gets you there with a little bit extra. Now I’m hitting 27 psi again and loving my ride. My tune is setup for 25psi /- 2-3 psi. Cobb stage 3 Canned tune.

Keeps the Turbo on the Job!

Very nice looking too. You can see right away that more work went into its construction and materials than the stock piece. Doesn't add any more boost, but seems to always be ready when you need it and holds it MUCH longer in the upper RPM than the stock piece. Keeps the turbo working when you need it. Much smoother operation when normal driving with no sudden bursts of boost. Everything included in the kit fits. Hardest part was the shield, but after watching U-Tube videos, I knew what to expect and it helped a lot with assurance that I was doing it correctly. (about an Hr.and1/2) My car is a stock daily driver and it improved drive-ability/ confidence and I would recommend it (over your Wife's objections to modifying HER car)! She's OK with it. Says it's not as jumpy as before, so we're both happy!

      Cheap performance

Requires a little bending of the heat shield to remove but still all and all a strait forward install. The pull above 5000rpm is very noticeable. Knowing the outcome I would definately by again. Worth the money.

      Must have upgrade

Ok this part is well worth the money. Take a little time to install. The cover over the waist gate is a pain. Other than that installs easy, had to look on line to figure out how to tune it. But after it's in and you go for a drive, it's wow. The car has less lagg and more pick up,even at high rpms. Wakes the turbo up a little more, can hear it build pressure as well. You'll get your money's worth out of this upgrade.

      Money well spent.

Installed this on my 16' Eco with PP and Bama 93R tune. Install was actually easier than I expected but was a bit over a solid hour. Car clearly pulls stronger and "feels" as if it is revving quicker. I think that "feeling" is from the increased pull though. No codes thrown which was a big worry before hand. Performance gain / dollar was well worth it. This is another one of those installs that after you do it you say "Wow! Why didn't I do that before now?!"

      Great Turbosmart Wastegate!!!

Great product and was easy to install!! The performance is awesome and night and day from the stock wastegate!! Holds boost at higher rpms longer. The best part I noticed was in between shifts, manual trans, it had little to no lag when compared to the stock one. Actually helped my 1/4 mile time drop. Really recommend if you are staying with the stock turbo.

      Awaken!

Before The install the car used to run out of breath after 5k rpms, With the new one on the car, it felt a lot healthier at the top end of the rpm band. It pulled way harder than before as well as a better and quicker response from the pedal. Boost came faster.

      Well worth the money

This exceeded my expectations. I already had other mods but this is like the icing on the cake. It made power delivery smooth and easy without the dropoff at the end as much. From 70 to 100 mph it was quick at half throttle and it felt like there was a lot more left.

      a little problem

Installed as per directions car went into over boost using the 2mm guide . Made a call to turbosmart tried reinstalling per instructions from them ,same thing happened. I do have a 93 tune SCT in the car and I think I will need to have a custom tune. It did not say that in any of the information I read before purchase. The part itself is well made and and the sevice from Americanmuscle was great. Not a bad piece once I can get it in sync.
