      Description

      Complete Rear Suspension Upgrade. The UMI Performance Rear Upper and Lower Control Arms kit enhances traction, handling, and ride quality for 1979 to 1998 Mustangs. Featuring adjustable lower arms and fixed upper arms, this setup is ideal for street, strip, or road course use, effectively reducing wheel hop and increasing chassis control under load.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-quality DOM mild steel, the lower arms use 1.500" OD tubing with TIG welds, while the upper arms are built from 1.625" tubing with 0.250" mounting plates for strength and precision. QA1® Teflon-lined spherical rod ends provide articulation without bind, and Energy Suspension® polyurethane bushings deliver long-lasting compliance. Zinc-plated sleeves, on-car greaseable Zerk fittings, reinforced spring perches, and sway bar mounts round out this rugged and functional package.

      Installation. Installation is moderately difficult and may require a lift or jack stands along with basic mechanical skills. All components are designed for direct bolt-on fitment with no welding required.
