Description
Advanced Fuel Pump Control. The Aeromotive PressureWorx Ally Controller for KPM1500 Fuel Pump Modules is engineered to manage twin high-power Bosch fuel pumps in vehicles equipped with OEM or aftermarket fuel system control modules (FSCM). It modulates pump speed using pulse width modulation (PWM) to reduce electrical load and fuel heat during idle and cruise conditions. The controller operates alongside the vehicle's primary FSCM to maintain optimal fuel pressure, eliminating the need for extra relays or pressure switches while preserving full diagnostic capabilities.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This controller is housed in a compact robust package measuring 4 inches by 2.1 inches by 1-5/8 inches. It is built with high-quality materials including cross-linked polyethylene wiring and UL94 rated components. The unit features OEM Delphi/Aptiv connectors for terminals, seals, and connector bodies to ensure durable and corrosion-resistant electrical connections. It also includes built-in over-temperature shutdown with automatic reset and short circuit protection designed for continuous safe operation.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation involves connecting battery power, the fuel pump, and integrating a small wire into the OEM FSCM fuel pump positive wire. No drilling or additional hardware such as relays or switches is required. The controller is designed for seamless integration into existing FSCM-controlled fuel systems using the KPM1500 fuel pump module.
