    65MM Twin Bore. This BBK throttle body features a generous, free flowing 65mm twin bore design that is perfect for the factory supercharged GT500.

    CNC Machined Aluminum. BBK's throttle bodies are cast from high quality, lightweight 356 aluminum alloy that is finished using CNC machining to ensure a precision fit. They feature double-sealed bearings, o-ringed throttle shafts, and precision die-stamped linkages to ensure a long life and maximum performance.

    Bolt-On Installation. The BBK Throttle Body is designed for a straightforward installation and includes all necessary hardware. It is designed to be installed reusing the factory throttle body gasket making it a no-hassle mod.

    Application. This BBK 65mm Twin Throttle Body is designed specifically for use on the 2007 to 2012 Shelby GT500 Mustangs with the supercharged DOHC 5.4L V8.

        I'm trying to figure out if this fits a saleen 281s mustang? about to add cold air intake and checking on throttle bodies....pulleys have already been changed.Are there any mustang shops in Atlanta Ga as I'm new to the area.Thanks in advance.

        • The BBK Twin 65mm Throttle Body (07-12 GT500) is designed for 07-12 GT500 Mustangs. It may not be a direct bolt on for a Saleen 281s Mustang. You can simply Google "Mustang Shops" to see if there are any in your area.

        Will this work on the Cobra Jet Intake Manifold? Will this work on the Cobra Jet intake manifold? I really can't see the difference of the designs.

            Great boost

            I def saw the difference after the install, more boost more power However I would advise to have a professional do the install since it doesn’t fit and mod will have to be made ( says on the very very small print ) if you have the money go with the Ford Cobra one B

            Budget mod

            Works great and instant torque on the bottom end. Instructions don't tell you for 2011-12 gt500 you use the spacer plate. Also a little pain setting the voltage to it but not too bad. You get what you pay for. More expensive brands already have motor and tps installed and set. Only upside is it doesn't require a tune.

            DEFECTIVE OUT OF BOX

            This product came defective as soon as I put the motor housing on, throttle body would stick like crazy, I don't recommend this product if you are trying to substitute it for another throttle body like the CJ twin 65.

            BBK Twin 65mm

            Wasn't to difficult to install and adjust. You will need a volt meter and an extra set of hands. Half the price of the Ford Racing and doesn't need a tune as long as you adjust the tps back to what it was before you removed the original. With the additional spacer I had to cut 1/4" off of CAI tube in order for it to fit.

            Easy installation. I can fell the change in throttle response and power over the stock throttle body. Great product for the price.

            Increased mid-range power @3500 to 4500 RPM

            Throttle body application for GT 500 and Ford V-10. The BBK throttle body bolt pattern would line up with intake. Had to drill out to a larger hole size to make the installation fit. Once that was completed had no other problems and finished remaining procedures.

            Let Her Breathe!

            This throttle body frees up ~981 square millimeters (~1.5 square inches) of cross-sectional area to increase the flow of air into your supercharger elbow. It's very simple to swap out, only taking an hour or so... I recommend doing it at the same time you install a CAI to get rid of that ugly, restrictive factory airbox. The BBK throttle body is polished and looks beautiful under the hood. Also, you're going to have a louder supercharger whine. Great product!
