Who would benefit from an non adjustable Panhard? I thought Panhard were meant to be adjustable to recenter the rear, what are the best appliances for this one?

      Steps for Installation

Installing this part on the driver side is the most difficult, when inserting the panhard bar. The things you will need are a 1/2 torque ratchet with an 18inch socket, after you have loosen the bolt you can use a 3/8 ratchet with an 18inch socket to make removing the bolt a lot faster. You will also need to buy a grease gun, grease, and a rubber mallet. Also having a screwdriver or a special tool thats sturdy enough to help you wiggle/align the holes of the panhard bar is very helpful. Once you remove the stock panhard bar, before inserting the panhard bar apply grease around the ends so the panhard slides in. Apply the grease at one side at a time to avoid getting dirt incase the panhard bar falls to the ground. A rubber mallet will be needed to smack the other end of the panhard bar to force it in. The panhard bar is wider than the original bar from the ends, so applying grease will make it easier when trying to force the pan hard bar in. To be honest you will probably struggle unless you are working standing up. Once you have it in make sure the hole is properly aligned or else the bolt will not go in. If your bolt does not want to go in this is where your screwdriver or sturdy tool comes into play. Insert it and use it as a leverage to pull the panhard bar into place. It will take a several tries to get it perfectly in place. You will know the holes are properly aligned when the bolt slides in without using any force. After that lift the other side of the panhard bar and smack it up with your rubber mallet and it will go into place. If bolt does not want to go in repeat same process with your screw driver or special tool till you wiggle/align it in place. Insert bolts, tighten them, and with your grease gun apply grease into your poly bushings and you'll be set. Overall great product made a huge difference my mustang feels smoother with handling and has more traction on the tires when stepping on the gas.

This arrived and installed quickly. Had a few questions and was able to get someone on the weekend. I installed this with the upper an I do notice the difference. I buy from AM often and will continue to do so.

      Tight Fit

End Bushing were slightly thicker. It will take a few rubber mallet strikes--but doable.

      improving handling

This panhead bar is much stiffer then the factory, yet lighter. It went in very easy, about 1hour, fit well looks great. It made a huge difference in how much better this car handles, less sway, very good in the corners. Noticed a big difference over the stock unit. Highly recommend. great bang for your buck.

      Better OEM replacement

Looks to be great quality (much stiffer than OEM), did not notice any difference in ride. Replaced this along with the axle bushing, UCA, LCAs, and panhard bar.

      Must have!

Looking to replace that useless, heavy and ugly looking stock panhard bar? The BMR version is great for just that, especially if your just building a nice street car. If your racing I would reccommed the adjustable. But this one is still sick, great red finish I paired it with all the LCA arms and UCA on mine to make it match and the red pops on my all black mustang. Has a much stiffer feel in the rear end and the best part? It has grease fittings to help enhance use and life by greasing all the nooks and crannies, something the poorly designed stock ones lacked.

      works but needs improvement

my old panhard was falling apart, so for that purpose this part worked fine. One point of pain: both grease ports are straight. You will not be able to access one of them on the car unless you change it to a right-angle one. It's a cheap fix (a few bucks at any autoparts for a small pile of grease ports). Be prepared to use a prying bar to get the old part out.
