Advanced Cooling Solution. The Davies Craig EWP80 Remote Electric Water Pump significantly improves engine cooling efficiency by replacing or supplementing traditional mechanical water pumps. It enhances cooling control, boosts engine power by reducing mechanical losses, and improves fuel economy—especially effective for engines up to two liters in capacity, including both naturally aspirated and turbocharged setups.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from lightweight, heat-resistant nylon 66 reinforced with 30% glass fiber, the pump provides excellent durability and corrosion resistance. The ceramic face seal ensures long-lasting performance, while the compact design allows for easy integration within the engine bay.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. The pump is designed for straightforward installation with connections to the radiator hose. Installation complexity is moderate; some vehicle applications might require drilling holes in the thermostat plate to ensure adequate coolant circulation when operating the pump continuously. This product can be used as an auxiliary pump, for disabling the mechanical pump, or for completely replacing the mechanical pump as needed.
