HIGH-PERFORMANCE INTERCOOLER. The Front Mount Aluminum Intercooler, measuring 27 inch x 7 inch x 2.5 inch, is designed to enhance the performance of turbocharged or supercharged engines by cooling the intake air. This increases the air charge density, improving volumetric efficiency and consequently engine power and responsiveness through near-isobaric cooling that removes heat caused by compression.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Crafted from lightweight T6061 aluminum, this intercooler employs a tube and fin design and precision TIG welding for durability. It features one-piece cast aluminum end tanks built to withstand high boost pressures, finished in natural aluminum with a clean, sleek look emphasized by angled vents that add both function and style.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires professional expertise due to the technical nature and potential need for adaptation. Basic modification or drilling may be necessary to fit varying vehicle setups because of its universal design. No installation instructions are included.
