Construction and Appearance. Featuring a silicone-coated Onyx Black outer shell for insulation and durability, the shield incorporates multiple layers including stainless steel and silica for excellent heat resistance. The inner layers consist of a composite of stainless steel, glass fiber, and silicone to maximize insulation and seam strength while preventing fraying and thermal degradation.
