Product Overview. The T3 Onyx Series Turbo Shield/Blanket is designed to combat extreme underhood heat, protecting surfaces from heat damage and improving turbo efficiency by aiding quicker spool times. It is used primarily around turbo units to maintain a more consistent temperature, enhancing performance and reducing lag. This thermal barrier is essential for preserving painted and carbon fiber hoods, as well as maximizing turbocharger response.

Construction and Appearance. Crafted from a unique blend of premium heat-resistant textiles, this shield features double reinforced seams both inside and out to ensure durability and longevity. It is finished with a black carbon fiber look for an attractive, high-tech aesthetic. Attachment is secured using newly designed stainless steel riveted anchors and includes a 5-foot length of 22 gauge stainless steel wire.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling. The included attachment hardware makes it easy to securely mount the shield around the turbo housing with minimal effort.
