These lifters combine light preload benefits with reduced oil volume, enhancing response to harmonics and improving lifter stiffness for higher engine RPM capability. Designed for use with specific Apache cylinder heads, these lifters are ideal for enthusiasts seeking reliable, high-performance valve actuation in demanding applications.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with a heavy-duty tool steel pushrod seat, these lifters provide exceptional strength and durability suited for extreme duty environments such as turbocharged drag racing or marine use. The short travel design reduces overall pushrod seat height to approximately 3.04 inches, about 0.100 inches shorter than original equipment lifters, enhancing fitment and performance without compromising reliability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no special machining or drilling required, though use of an aftermarket head gasket may be necessary to ensure clearance of the link bar guide.
