A Corsa Sport Axle-back will also improve your pony's exhaust flow for an increase in overall performance.

RSC™ Technology. Corsa designs their mufflers using their own patented Reflective Sound Cancellation® Technology (RSC™) to give your Mustang an aggressive sound under acceleration and a drone-free experience while cruising.

Quality Construction. Corsa axle-back systems are manufactured in the USA from 2.5" diameter premium grade 304 stainless steel tubing for a improved exhaust flow and a perfect fit. The system features two straight-through mufflers that end with black chromed 4" Pro-Series tips, that exit in the stock location for impressive good looks.

Application. This Corsa Sport Axle-Back Exhaust System is designed as a direct fit bolt-on upgrade replacement for the 2005-2010 GT, 2008-2009 Bullitt, and 2007-2010 Shelby GT500 Mustangs.

Does this sound any different from the old style corsa sports?

  • The Corsa Sport Axle-Back Exhaust (05-10 GT; 07-10 GT500) will have a slightly different sound from the old style exhausts. Corsa Sport No Drone No headache

First I will tell you that the product quality is excellent including the clamps which are stainless steel also.Made me feel better about spending that much money. It took me about 2 hours total to install and the alignment is perfect.you need to loosen the pipes behind the H pipe to get the alignment perfect. The directions are very good ,read them before you start I did install on a lift but could be done on jack stands. The exhaust note is very tame under 2000 rpm but when you get above 2500 it sounds fantastic and positively NO DRONE.I can actually hear my shaker 1000.I have less then a 100 miles on them but so far I love them.

    Tired of obnoxious drone?

Great looking exhaust, but I think everyone is expecting that from the price. I am running a WOT box and required to run a straight through muffler. I had a magnaflow catback and a roush axle back that both droned. Not wanting to waste any more money I bought these because of their "No Drone" technology, and I can't tell you how amazing it is to listen to my radio at a moderate level while driving normally. Totally worth it. This exhaust won't make your mustang the loudest thing out there, but what you lack in absurd volume is made up for in quality of sound. Only complaint: couldn't get the right axle back lined up right. Hangs 2-ish inches below where it should.

    Real Deal

I had a terrible issue with droning in my 09 vert - automatic (because I needed to have something my wife could drive). I read the reviews about the Corsa exhaust - and I will tell you the exhaust has exceeded my expectations. Not only does it have additional bark when accelerating - it has no drone at cruise speed and is overall very quiet. I realize it costs more - but as I read in one of the reviews - you get what you pay for.

Review from Corsa Sport Axle-Back Exhaust (05-10 GT, GT500)

    Borla-Corsa Hybrid

First, I love Borla. I have them on my 2010 Mustang GT and they are the best sounding and running mufflers ever. I bought a complete CATBACK set for my 2006 GT because of this. HOWEVER.......... Sounded great, ran great, looked great BUT, I could not get rid of that 2000 RPM drone in ever gear change ( it's automatic). Whe I read about the Corsa " no drone " axle backs I thought I would try them as a last resort . Expensive at $751.00 but I had t have something. BUNCO! What s great combo with the Borla pipes and the Corsa mufflers. Finally, quiet inside and a nice tone outside until you mash the gas and then it sounds like an honest LeMans or Watkins Glen race GT. This was my son's car when he was alive and I am doing this in his memory. I think he would be pleased. Thanks to American Muscle, Borla and Corsa.

Review from Corsa Sport Axle-Back Exhaust (05-10 GT, GT500)

Great When Paired With an ORX Pipe

I had the Lethal Performance ORX pipe (no cats) along with Pypes "Pype Bomb" Axleback on my 2010 GT500 when I purchased it. It was obnoxiously loud and had a terrible rasp in the 2500-3000 rpm range. It sounded like a glasspack on a truck. I yanked the Pypes system off within a week and bought Corsa Sports. Taking the old system off and installing the new one isn't bad. I did it in my garage and didn't even jack the car up, and my car is slightly lowered. The only thing you need to do is bend the hanger bars to adjust tip fitment up or down and that's about it. Upon first start, it sounded "too clear" and poppy. After about 100 miles of driving, the exhaust got a bit deeper and most of the popping went away. Absolutely ZERO drone even with an ORX pipe. Very quiet at idle and when cruising on the interstate in 6th gear. Reving up to 3-4k rpms between shifts sounds fantastic--Has that classic Cobra sound. WOT is very loud and I can barely hear my blower whine. Overall a very nice purchase and it makes the car a bit more refined. No vibrating parts in my car from drone and I can hear the radio crystal clear. If you are running a off-road X or H pipe GT500, these work quite well but still quite loud. I am glad I bought these over the Corsa Extreme's.

Corsa Sport Axleback on 2010 Mustang GT

They sound very nice outside but inside hardly much difference in volume over stock. Compared to Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers these are super mild. The FMs were too aggressive and a bit of noticeable drone at 60 mph. No such drone from the Corsas. They are a good balance between stock and the FMs. Easy install and great for and look.

    Corsa Rocks

I have a 2005 gt that has ford racing cams, long tube headers, off-road x-pipe, and corsa sport axlebacks. I had MAC axlebacks and wanted a different sound.... and oh my did the corsas give me that!!! Yes they do take a little working with to get them to fit just right but the look and sound is second to none! Like all of the other reviews, I too have experienced absolutely no drone in the year+ that I have owned them. Cruising on the freeway sounds like you are in a hybrid on the inside until you mash the gas pedal! Yes they are pricy but if you are looking to buy an axleback that will make you smile overtime you start your car these are the ones for you! I have nothing bad to say about the corsas and will continue to buy them for my future mustangs!

Too Early for a Real Evaluation

We installed these in less than two hours a few weeks ago. The driver's side went in easily but the passenger side still needs some tweaking to get it centered. As for the sound, it's very loud at start up in the garage. My engine revs to about 2200 RPM on start up but it settles to a nice sound at idle. I think that I get much more "bark" compared to the stock mufflers but I'm guessing that will be a little less when they get some miles on them. On the highway they have a nice sound and I don't notice any drone so far. But the only time I've had it on the highway was with the top down and I think drone would be more noticeable when it's up.

The No. 1 best muffler for Mustang PERIOD

After trying several axle backs, I have to say this is the killer! When you push it hard, you feel like you are driving a Ferrari. When you are cruising, you can't hear anything. No drone is an understatement. It is definitely quieter than the stock muffler, when you are cruising. The axle back feels and looks like a jewelry. It is beautifully made. Considering the quality of the axle back, the price is cheap :-) It is definitely worth every single penny.

    No Drone!

I have long tubes and an off road x on my 06 automatic GT.I had Borla stingers for about 6 months but couldn't take the drone.I switched to these and haven't looked back. They have a refined tone, not real deep, but a loud scream at WOT.At idle and cruising speeds they are relatively quiet and subdued, but under half to full throttle they come alive. There is absolutely zero drone what so ever.Only negatives are price and I couldn't get the driver side one as flush as the passenger side, however that might be the over the axle pipes needing adjustment. If you want to feel like your inside a bass tube while driving look elsewhere,if you want a clean refined sound buy these now!

Another example of you get what you pay for.

This is my third Mustang and learned on my first there is no substitute for quality. I tried other brands but got the dreaded drone. Corsa is not inexpensive, but hated the drone I got with other brands. I just installed these in about an hour and love the fit and finish and best of all no drone. The sound is louder than stock at start up. Quiet at idle too, but when you get on it they come alive. At cruising speed they are quiet inside so you can talk etc. I love to save money but learned this is an area I could not justify the drone no matter how much I saved. I ordered these on a Friday and they were on my porch Tuesday.

    Excitement While Driving

I did a lot of research on different performance mufflers. I picked Corsa because of the quality of their mufflers and the no drone technology. This was the perfect muffler for me. No drone when driving around town to work, store, etc. There is a nice deep rumble when accelerating from a red light or stop sign. Freeway driving is the same with no drone. However, I do notice a humming sound while accelerating. It is not a loud sound but you can hear. I don't think it is a big deal. That sound may have been there the whole time when I had a single muffler (did a dual exhaust conversion) and the Corsas make it standout more. The biggest concern I had was the cold start in the morning. I didn't want mufflers that would wake the neighbors in the morning and some of the YouTube videos that had Mustangs with the Corsa Sport seemed really loud. The Corsa Sports are not loud from a cold start. It has a nice deep tone when you first start your car which I love and as the Corsa mufflers get warmed up they get quiet. I went to a shop for the dual exhaust conversion and Corsa Sport install. The cost was $400. The price would have been lower but the guys at the shop told me they had some issues with installing the x pipe which increased the price but I was ok with it. If you are looking for a performance muffler with no drone, is louder than stock mufflers, and is not wake the neighbors loud the Corsa Sport would be the perfect muffler.
