High-Performance Emissions Control. The Flowmaster 225 Series Enhanced Duty Catalytic Converter; 2.50-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet; 49-State Legal is designed to reduce harmful exhaust emissions and meet federal EPA standards. It is ideal for restoring emissions capabilities on a wide variety of vehicles where a universal fit catalytic converter is required, offering reliable performance while helping to prevent malfunction indicator lamp activation.
Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter features a durable stainless steel outer shell with an oval clam shell body design. The internal ceramic substrate is engineered with precision and loaded with precious metals for maximum efficiency. The natural finish and integrated heat shield provide long-lasting durability and protection under high temperatures.
Installation. Installation requires welding and/or fabrication, best performed by qualified technicians. No drilling is necessary, but some adaptation may be required for proper fitment to the vehicle’s exhaust system.
Warranty. Includes a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 5 year/50,000-mile warranty on the exterior case.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required. Not legal for sale or use on vehicles licensed or operated in California or states adopting California emissions regulations.
