Superior Performance. This Extreme Axle-Back Exhaust unleashes the Mustang engine’s racing capabilities and takes the performance to its maximum. The straight-through muffler with warp-free flanges significantly reduce the backpressure, facilitating an efficient release of the exhaust gases and allowing the new charge to come for more power. Furthermore, the mandrel-bent tubing reinforces the exhaust flow while maintaining optimum velocity.
Lasting Durability. Ford Performance by Borla equipped its Extreme Axle-Back Exhaust with long-lasting durable components. It is constructed from premium 304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing. The tough exhaust system is further reinforced with a pair of exhaust tips, suitably made from stainless steel and coated with a chrome finish. This entire exhaust system is designed to handle harsh driving conditions, including the constant attacks from the corrosive exhaust gases and thermal stress from catalytic activities.
Bolt-On Installation. The Extreme Axle-Back Exhaust installs directly to the Mustang’s factory exhaust mounting positions. The installation process takes around 2 hours and requires light to moderate mechanical skills.
