      Improve Traction. If you're not "hooking up" off the line then a set of Ford Racing Boss 302R lower control arms will help. These lower control arms will eliminate wheel hop, and improve traction keeping your Mustang's rear end planted for firmer consistent launches.

      Boss 302R Original Equipment. These Ford Racing Lower Control Arms are the same exact ones found as standard original equipment on the FR500C and Boss 302R race car.

      Tubular Construction. Constructed from heavy duty steel tubing for superior strength, these Boss 302R Lower Control Arms feature low deflection urethane bushings to increase rear-end stiffness for minimal suspension deflection. These Rear Lower Control Arms are completed in a black powder coat finish for durability and good looks.

      Application. This pair of Ford Racing Boss 302R Rear Lower Control Arms are designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for all 2005 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, BOSS, and Shelby GT500 models. These rear lower control arms are non adjustable and intended for off road use.

        What a difference!

        This is a mod that made a real difference. It took a little over an hour to remove the stock rear lower control arms and install the Boss 302R control arms. The hardest part was the hand brake cables, which were routed through the slots in the stock arms. The Boss 302R arms make the rear wheels feel much more firmly planted to the road. When I power out of a turn, I can really feel the difference. The rear doesn't seem inclined to drift out an inch and I can really slingshot back into the straight away. There may be some other brands that are less expensive, but these are genuine Ford Performance parts that deliver. You can probably spend more, but I doubt you'll get any better performance.

        5 2008 Bullitt - DonF Installation Time: Afternoon

        A bit of Boss for my Bullitt

        I installed these tubular Boss 302R lower control arms along with Boss 302S relocation brackets, as well as the BMR adjustable upper control arm to help correct the suspension geometry and pinion angle on my Bullitt. The car also has the Ford Performance Adjustable Handling pack which lowers it about one and a quarter inches. I haven't driven it much yet, however I did notice a sportier and more connected ride quality on my test drive. NVH did not increase dramatically either which I am very pleased about. The install could not have been simpler. Disconnect the e-brake cable, unbolt the old stamped steel LCA's and bolt up the new ones. Don't forget to torque the bolts with the suspension loaded to avoid unnecessary strain on the poly bushings. Oh yes, and grease those bushing so they don't squeak. The Boss 302R LCA's are a very beefy tubular design yet lighter than the stamped steel factory pieces. They fit perfectly and are more go than show with their black powder coat finish. Overall I'm very happy!

        Girthy things!!

        Wow! They look about 1 1/4" thick. Still impressed. I installed them with the FRPP adjustable handling pack, so speaking for them on their own won't work, but I have found my Tiger Paw tires can't get keep grip with a manual and 3.55's. >:D

        4 2005 GT - Johnswinney Installation Time: Afternoon


        me and some buddies from my car club that's a sponsored club here at AM put on these along with a BMR non adjustable panhard bar and power stop street warrior brakes on my 05 drop top GT. they were a bit tough to get final fitment but drastically changed the feel the car gives going down the road. it rides so much smoother.

        Control arms are doing great so far. Solid and straight with no play. These replaced the SR upper and lower arms which failed first time out.

        5 2014 GT - Milhouse Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Boss 302 Lower Control Arms.

        These control arms fit perfectly. They installed in less time than it took to jack up the car and put the jack stands under the car. They are lighter than stock parts and look great !! They help with eliminating wheel hop and with handling. Great price too!! Thank you AM !!

        5 2008 GT - mas64292 Installation Time: Afternoon

        Nice upgrade...

        These went on easily. I also installed the FRPP relocation brackets, and an adjustable UCA with a poly bushing. With this combo, there is a slight increase in transmitted road/drivetrain noise (more noticeable when cold), but nothing too loud. Also, wheel hop is nearly eliminated based on cold pavement launch on UHP all-seasons. Also have aluminum DS.

        5 2013 GT - Don

        work great

        I was looking finish up my rear suspension mods and lower control arms were the what I needed. I went ford racing because I knew the fit would be perfect and they would work well. Had some trouble getting the old lcas out because the old bushings had worn out and basically rotted around the bolts. Took it to a shop right down the street and they were able to get the old ones out and the knew ones on in about an hour. These lcas work great even with the other modds I've done I can tell a huge difference . The rear stays planted on hard launches and the rear is more stable when taking curves . I would highly recommend the boss 302r lcas.

      Does it fit with bmr relocation bracket?

      I have a four post lift and every video for installation involves a two post lift. Given that the suspension needs to be loaded for a proper swap, can I simply lift my car and conduct the swap without further jacks or support needed?

      • Using a 4 post lift you should be able to easily load and unload the suspension for proper installation of the Ford Performance Boss 302R Lower Control Arms without further jacks or supports needed.

      Do I need to use relocation brackets with these? I do not plan on lowering the car - I have the regular stock GT springs/struts/shocks. I plan to use these with the FRPP Sway bars and strut tower brace.

      • Hello! The Ford Performance Boss 302R Lower Control Arms do not require the use of relocation brackets. They are a direct replacement for the OEM lower control arms.

      • both sides are the same. the difference is the front and rear ends. where one can not mess up. they simply only fit one way.
