Upgraded Performance. Even under light cornering loads, stock control arms have a tendency to flex and give inconsistent and unstable handling. Optimize your 2005-2010 Mustang's performance by upgrading from the stock rear UCA to a heavy duty tubular unit with spherical bearings from BMR Suspension. Eliminate the soft, pliable factory rubber bushings that are quick to deflect under load and known to absorb the power that should be heading for your tires. BMR's Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm solves these problems perfectly and lets you get the most of your solid rear axle.

Performance Driven Parts. Crafted from heavy-duty, MIG-welded 1-5/8” DOM steel tubing, this Rear UCA by BMR features Teflon-lined, heavy duty Viking Performance spherical bearings that provide peak levels of articulation and strength. Completed in a stealthy black hammertone powdercoat finish for superior durability, this upgrade will allow your car to handle like a dream while standing up to heavy performance loads.

Quality Construction. BMR is a well known and respected leader for high performance suspension, chassis and drivetrain products. They proudly design, manufacture and test these parts right here in the USA. You can trust BMR's reputation to boost your Mustang's performance at the starting line, around the corners and at the finish line.

Application. This BMR Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm with Spherical Bearings is specifically designed to fit all 2005-2010 Mustangs, including V6, GT, Bullitt and GT500 models.

Ask a Question

What is the difference between this rear UCA and the BMR non-adjustable rear UCA with poly bushings? Which is a better choice for a non-lowered car with no intentions of lowering it? Thanks,

Tipper

  • Hello! Spherical Bearings offer more performance in a track setting, but lose ride quality and increase noise. Regardless of whether it's lowered or not, you should go with the BMR Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm - Spherical Bearings if the car will be used on the track, and Polyurethane bearings if the car is a daily driver.

Do I need to replace the mounting bracket with this UCA or is the stock on ok? Recommended? Thanks,

Tipper

  • Hello! For this BMR Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm it is not necessary to replace the upper control arm mount. It is the upper control arm that is the weak link in this situation. You will be fine reusing the stock mount.

Do these bearings need to be greased? Thanks,

Tipper

  • Hello! These BMR Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm - Spherical Bearings are greasable if needed. Two-inch greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR’s bushings are internally fluted, which keeps grease in the bushing, even under heavy load. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.

nicely built product with excellent materials. Easily replaced although the front mounting bolt was a little problematic. Makes it very difficult to torque with he mounting bracket in the car. Have to drop the fuel tank if you also want to remove/replace the mount.

Review from BMR Non-Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm - Spherical Bearings - Red (05-10 All)

Recently installed a BMR UPPER CONTROL ARM for my 2006 Mustang GT and it is a noticeable difference, much stiffer in the back but still excellent weight transfer on the launch. Highly recommend this product.
