Their ceramic composition means that they’re more effective at reducing heat, which in turn eliminates brake fade. The chamfered edges, on the other hand, help improve performance with worn rotors. Finally, the slotted center grooves provide a more effective way of getting rid of debris, gas, and moisture for a cleaner contact surface. This helps give the pads a stronger grip.
