Description
Fuel Tank Pickup Solution. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (11X11 CROSS) - CENTER OUT- 3/8 is designed to enhance fuel delivery reliability by preventing fuel starvation during demanding driving conditions. It addresses issues caused by fuel slosh and low fuel levels to ensure consistent engine performance. Ideal for racing and street applications, it improves fuel availability without adding complexity to the fuel system.
Construction and Appearance. The HydraMat features a beige, patent-pending, porous wicking media that utilizes surface tension to efficiently pull and store fuel. Its large coverage area and internal reservoir technology enable it to draw fuel from nearly any part of the tank or cell. The flexible design allows the mat to be folded and compressed for easy installation through a variety of fuel cell openings.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, with no sealing paste or tape required for the female NPT fitting to prevent pump failure. It can be mounted using recommended hardware such as Click Bond stud kits from aircraft supply retailers without the need for drilling.
Warranty. This product carries a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty. Application. Designed specifically to fit flat bottom rectangular style fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 11 inches long by 11 inches wide cross. Proper function requires the fuel return to discharge near the HydraMat pick-up, at least one inch above the mat.
