    Improved Handling. J&M’s Bare Adjustable Aluminum Rear Lower Control Arms are designed to eliminate unwanted flexes and twists that characterize poor quality lower control arms. These aluminum lower control arms are specially engineered to ensure that the position of your Mustang’s rear axle is maintained, thus improving its cornering ability and handling.

    On-Car Adjustability. With J&M’s Aluminum Rear Lower Control Arms, it is possible to fine tune your Mustang’s suspension after installation. Tuning is done by just turning a wrench to make adjustments rather than uninstalling it.

    Superior Construction. J&M constructed these bare rear lower control arms from a high-grade aluminum alloy which is incredibly durable but lightweight. Also, the spherical ends are made from high strength steel. Threads found on the spherical ends are formed via the CNC machined process to ensure a perfect fit. Bushings found on J&M’S aluminum rear lower control arms are made from polyurethane for optimum longevity and strength.

    Direct Installation. A CNC-Machining process is used to form threads used on these control arms’ spherical ends. Therefore, installation is a simple bolt-on process which only requires basic tools and no modifications to your Mustang. Installation takes approximately 2 hours. The upgradable modular design means that you can replace worn out ends instead of purchasing new rods.

    Warranty. J&M Adjustable Aluminum Rear Lower Control Arms – Bare are backed by a limited lifetime warranty that also includes the bushings unless stated otherwise.

      Excellent bang for the buck!

      I lowered my '13 V6 Verte and got some noise and vibration from the driveshaft, so I got these adjustable control arms. These were the cheapest on AM at the time, and zero reviews, eek! Pros - solid build, easy install, adjustable, look great, spherical bearings, no binding. No excess noise once you get the nuts tight enough (more on that later). Can adjust on car, without lifting it at all! Much quicker and steady launches, overall handling has increased a ton! Cons - no instructions included! grr. Lock nuts do come loose easily if not tightened properly, they get loud enough to cause concern too (maybe use some lok-tite once you got them adjusted how you like). Slightly rougher ride, but you should really be expecting that, nothing insane though. I installed these myself in about an hour, in the dark in my drive with a small worklight. Important to note - Put a jack under the bell housing, trust me, do it! I didn't, made things harder. Take out one side control arm paying close attention to orientation, adjust the new one to the same length using BOTH ends. Look at the end pieces to match stock (you'll notice they are different sizes). I put a little multi purpose grease on them (NOT on the threads!), adds a little lube, also holds the pieces in making it easier to work with. If you put the jack in place under the bell, the new one should go right in with no issues. Do not make adjustments till both are in place! Repeat process on other side, adjust how you like or need (this will take a few rides most likely). I painted mine with a couple coats of VHT light tint, I didn't want the bare aluminum standing out too much. I lengthened them I think about 5 turns at first, a couple more after a few days driving. Those lock nuts came loose every few days (had no effect on adjustment), then I finally just really tightened them and they've been fine a couple weeks now. If you lower your car significantly, or just need new control arms, you really can't beat the price, and these seems great quality, see how long they last...
