Popular Tire Setups for this Wheel
Hey everyone Justin here with AmericanMuscle.com and I’m taking a look at a classic Mustang wheel design and by far our most popular wheel here at AmericanMuscle, I’m referring to these Bullitt wheels for all 99-04 Mustangs. Bullitt wheels have long been the favorite of many Mustang owners everywhere, from their classic 60s muscle car styling, in addition to the factory built Ford Bullitt Mustang in 01, then again in 08 and 09, it’s easy to see why these wheels are so popular on Mustangs of all ages. Our Bullitt wheels are available in 17” 18” and 19” diameters, and your choice of either gloss black, anthracite silver, matte black, or a chrome finish. The wheels are also available in either staggered or non staggered fitment, now a staggered fitment means that your rear wheels and tires are going to be slightly wider than your fronts, giving you that classic muscle car appearance, and that’s exactly what we’ve done on our 2000 V6 behind me. We have our gloss black 17x9’s on the front, and our gloss black 17x10 ½ ‘s on the rear, giving us that really aggressive stance. Now this will also help your traction as well, thanks to the fact that you get to run a big beefy tire out back to help you get that power down to the ground. The wheels are also available with a very cool deep dish option, now deep dish refers to the lip around the wheel itself, as you can see the face of the wheel is set further back into the rim, giving you that really nice lip that’s sure to get you noticed. If you want to check out what some of the other finishes might look like on your ride, then you’ll want to check out our 98 GT back there on the lift that’s sporting the chrome finish, or our 2000 GT back there on our dyno jet, sporting the anthracite silver look. Now whatever finish you decide to go with, rest assured that we have your back, with a 1 year warranty on our finishes, and a lifetime structural warranty on all wheels. Of course you can purchase these wheels individually if you like, however the smart move would be to take advantage of one of our pre built tire and wheel combinations. This pairs your new Bullitt wheels up with some of the top performing tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your ride without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. You also get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing, optional nitrogen fill, and as always free shipping and handling. Installing a new set of wheels is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, all you need to do is simply crack your lugs loose first, then jack up the car and swap the wheels, start to finish should take you about an hour using standard hand tools and a floor jack. So if you want to evoke that classic muscle car styling on your modern day ride, then these Bullitt wheels from AmericanMuscle will give you an aggressive look that’s sure to never go out of style.

Recommended Tire Size:
Technical Note. Due to the limited space in the rear wheel wells of the 1994-2004 Mustangs, we highly recommend you flip or completely remove the rear quad shock for proper fitment. Slight rubbing may occur on the inside of the wheel and tire without this modification.
Note. Priced per wheel.

10 1/2X17" rear with nitro 315/35/17" tires
Great looking wheels except you have to use their center caps, but I remedied that problem ,and for some reason, maybe the tires or a different offset from my old wheels they rubbed my quad shocks, same size rims and same size tires 315/35/17 but tires were a different brand and old wheels were Cobra style 10 1/2 X 17" will try and post pics of the way I did the center caps if anyone is interested.Helpful (1)

New rims and tires
The Bullitt rims and tires really set off the stance and look of my Mustang. The ability to purchase on-line, tires installed on rims, balanced, nitrogen filled and delivered to my door step was awesome! I could not have purchased this locally for a better value - and I did not have to make any appointments at a tire shop for installation. And delivery was fast!Helpful (4)

These wheels are awesome and look even better on my '04 New Edge. The matte black finish really accents the machined finish outer rim. Can't beat the price. Bought them with MT street comp tires, had AM mount and balance, pulled 4 old ones off and put these on in under 15 minutes.Helpful (4)
Do the rear quad shocks have to be flipped to keep from scrubbing with this deep dish wheel 315 tire??
I bought 4 of these for a 2004 Mustang Gt. Will they fit the front as well? They are going to be delievered tomorrow and I just seen on the website that is says rear only. Thanks.
The 17x10.5" Bullitt Deep Dish Wheel will only fit the rear of the 94'-04' Mustangs. They will not fit the front of the 94'-04' Mustangs.
Does the suspension need to be stock ride height with this kit? In other words, If my car is lowered will there be rubbing issues? Thanks!
The 17x9/17x10.5 Staggered Deep Dish Bullitt Wheel & Mickey Thompson Tire Kit will fit with most lowering springs but will not be able to guarantee fitment for anything lower than 2".
will this pacage of wheels and ties from a 99 fit on my 98 gt mustand
The Staggered Bullitt Matte Black Wheel & Sumitomo Tire Kit will work on the 98 models as well yes.
What is the offset on these? Why isn't the offset listed on your wheels to help us plan our builds?
The Bullitt Deep Dish Matte Black Wheel in 17x10.5 has an offset of +28mm (1.10"). This information can be found in the "Tech Specs" drop-down located to the right of the description.
This Staggered Deep Dish Bullitt Matte Black Wheel & Mickey Thompson Tire Kit would absolutely work, the benefit of running the 275 up front would just be more tire on the road.
While it is possible to have this fit on a 2006 mustang, unfortunately, we would not be able to guarantee the fitment for it due to the design differences between the new edge mustangs VS a 2006 mustang.
The Staggered Deep Dish Bullitt Matte Black Wheel & Mickey Thompson Tire Kit will not fit an 07 GT.
If your 1988 5.0L Mustang has the stock 4-lug bolt pattern on its axles, unfortunately these wheels will not work.
Yes they will fit normally but if your getting new rims I would suggest getting new matching lug nuts or some fancy chrome ones!
That wheel and tire combo will accommodate up to a 2" drop without any rubbing or clearance issues. The SR Lowering Springs would be a great complement to these Matte Black Bullitt Wheels! Hope this helps!
Simple installation for anyone.
