    Street Or Track. The McLeod Street Extreme Clutch is perfect for aggressive street driving and occasional track use. Able to hold up to 700 horse power and 700 ft/lb of torque the Street Extreme Clutch kit is ideal for high horsepower Mustangs that need a good reliable clutch on the street and the track.

    Ceramic Disc. Featuring a dual-faced ceramic friction disc; this McLeod Street Extreme Clutch provides smooth engagement and awesome holding power making it the perfect performance upgrade for street and track use.

    SFI Certified. If you're using this clutch in a high performance or racing application, SFI Certification is critical so you can run your Pony at the track or strip. And it's great for peace of mind even in a daily driver.

    Application. This McLeod Street Extreme Clutch is designed for the 2005-2010 GT and Bullitt Mustangs with a TR3650 manual 10-spline transmission.

        Is the 10spline for 5 speed man trans?

        • This clutch would be for the TR-3650 manual 5-speed transmission with the 10 spline input shaft.

        Do you need to buy a Pilot bearing when buying this. if not should i still?

        • We would recommend replacing the pilot bearing when upgrading the clutch. Unfortunately, this kit does not include a new pilot bearing.

            terrible customer service

            I received a defective pressure plate from mcleod, after it cost me an additional $650 to have my shop remove the junk part and install the new one, mcleod tells me its not their problem. better hope you get a good one if you order one, if not all the extra cost is out of your pocket.

            Smooth clutch, easy engagement

            I wanted to wait until I'd put on the recommended mileage before reviewing this product. I only had a small bit of chatter in reverse early on until the clutch wore in. After that, it has been great. Engages smoothly and quickly. I had a shop install this clutch and new Flywheel as well, so I can't attest to the labor end of it. They did tell me that it was a very easy install and a nice change of pace to see a clutch/flywheel combo go so smoothly.

            McCleod means quality

            I am very impressed with the quality of the materials used and the attention to detail that went into crafting these parts. I will most certainly be purchasing McCleod parts from American Muscle again on my future builds.

            Top knotch!

            I just finished installing the McLeod extreme clutch kit, purged the line, started up, placed into reverse and very slowly eased clutch out, reversing as it should. Peddle is smooth, engaging about mid way from floor. Now the hard part, taking it easy for 500 miles, no hard shifts or spinning my tires which is real hard being my car has a whipple charger, putting down over 500rwhp. No pics sorry. I also purchased the aluminum flywheel, McLeod slave cylinder and throw-out bearing w/ this install, all fit together like a glove. Hard part, after market longtubes and whipple caused a real hard fit in getting tranny off for install took 2 days of fighting it finally and well worth it.

            Great buy

            Definitely a must when you are upgrading your clutch to keep up with the power upgrades. I bought this to go along with my car when I got my supercharger installed. It's night and day from the stock clutch. I would recommend it to anyone.

            Street extreme fun.

            Packaged well, installed like a factory unit with no problems. First few runs I did have some chatter when pulling out, little more noticeable in reverse. After break in that has settled greatly. Mine is paired with light weight steel flywheel. lighter pedal than my old stock unit engages quickly and holds my 450 hp just fine. If your looking for affordable ceramic I highly recommend.
