      The 3.6L and 3.2L Pentastar engines are workhorses that are found in thousands of Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, and RAM vehicles around the world. They're no-nonsense V6 engines that just work when you need them; but they're not without their flaws.

      The stock 3.6 oil filter housing is made from plastic and is known to become brittle after repeated heat cycles. When that happens, even the slightest amount of torque on the filter cap while performing an oil change can be enough to crack the housing and cause significant oil leaks. To make matters worse, the oil filter housing lives underneath the intake manifold, making it difficult to identify and diagnose the leak. Oil running down the back of the engine can look like a failed rear-main seal and end up costing you thousands in parts and labor, only to have the problem continue. Luckily, Mishimoto offers a solution to prevent the headache of chasing down oil leaks and give you peace of mind.

      Our all-aluminum 3.6/3.2L Pentastar oil filter housing kit is a complete safeguard against frustrating oil leaks. As the name suggests, our oil filter housing swaps the stock brittle plastic for a robust aluminum replacement. This housing is significantly stronger than the stock polymer version and won't become brittle over time. We've also upgraded the seals to Viton for improved oil and fuel resistance, ensuring a long service life. This complete kit includes the aluminum housing, oil filter, filter cap, intake manifold gaskets, filter housing seals, heat exchanger, oil temp and pressure sensors, and bolts, making it a one-stop solution for your Pentastar.
