    Increase in Performance and Sound. Installing a Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System Cat-Back with Black Tips on a stock 05-10 GT or Bullitt will offer an instant 5-10 horses at the rear wheels. It features two of Pypes high flow M-80 Bullet Style Mufflers for the ultimate in unrestricted flow and power gains accompanied by a deeper throaty tone.

    Aggressive Throaty Sound. The Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System Cat-Back features two high flow straight-through M-80 Bullet Mufflers that are mounted directly after the Mid Pipe, instead of after the axle, to produce an aggressive deep throaty muscle car tone with the help of stealthy black stainless steel resonator tips that Pypes uses on their "Pype-Bomb" Axle-Back Exhaust Kit.

    Quality Materials. This Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System Cat-Back Exhaust system is constructed from free flowing mandrel bent 2.5" 409 Stainless Steel tubing and features two Pypes M-80 Bullet straight-through mufflers for an aggressive throaty sound. The whole system is finished off with a set of 4" black powdercoat 304 Stainless Steel resonator tips for modern muscle car styling.

    Application. The Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Tips is designed to bolt onto the existing factory H-Pipe of the 2005-2010 4.6L GT or Bullitt Mustang for more power and a louder more aggressive sound.AmericanMuscle recommends adding the 2005+ Mustang 304 Stainless Steel Exhaust Hanger Kit from the drop down option above, to provide more strength, stability and a cleaner installed appearance. If you have a 2007 Mustang, you may need the kit for correct installation. Sometime in 2007, Ford changed the style of exhaust hangers used to install the stock exhaust on the 2007 S197 Mustangs. They switched from a "rubber and steel" hanger design to an "all rubber" hanger, which will not work correctly with the after-market cat-back exhaust systems on the market today. Please visually check your exhaust to determine whether or not you need this optional rubber and steel hanger.

      Sounds great, very nice growl.

      It does not fit out of the box, it did have to be cut to fit. With out being cut the exhaust tips extended near 4-6 inches from the bumper. My install time will be higher than most because I had it welded instead of clamped. Now, on the the good. Start up will really make you smile the first time you hear it. The throttle does seem more responsive. This is pure "butt-dyno" opinion, but I do think there is slightly more power in 3rd gear. Idle isn't always the same, sometimes it is only slightly louder than stock, other times it is very noticeable.

      pype bomb

      The biggest complaint I have is that the box was torn up when delivered and black was scratched. They have a good sound but not as loud as I thought they would be. One pipe stuck out further then other had to cut to equal out

      Worth the money

      I have this cat back system installed along with Pypes long tube headers, high flow cats, and x pipe. This particular combination produces an EXCELLENT sound. There's moderate drone in the car but not enough to give you a headache. The moment you hit WOT, heads WILL turn. I've had one person ask me if I did a Coyote swap because the idle is significantly deeper. One suggestion from my experience installing this is to have the system welded because the clamps provided werent enough to seal each connection fully. So there were miscellaneous leaks. But in the end, it's definitely worth the money and I recommend it to any mustang owner!

      Love this exhaust. I paired it with a popes o/r h pipe and it sounds mean! Very agressive sound.

      Great Exhaust System!

      I installed this system along with the Pypes after cat x-pipe. I was a little hesitant to make the cuts for the x pipe, but I used a sawsall and it went rather smoothly. Just measure twice! Took around 3-4 hours on the ground with stands, including the x-pipe install. The M80 mufflers are packed in there tight so watch your clearances. The fitment was perfect, and with a little patience I was able to get everything lined up correctly. A few of the clamps were being a bit difficult when trying to tighten down. I ended up backing off the nuts and lubing them and it persuaded them to act right. Loaded up my new Bama tune and the first startup gave me that grin. You know which one I speak of. It sounds awesome! It's loud but not too loud. I can cruise around and not be obnoxious, and yet I can lay into it and turn heads and be obnoxious as I want. Two thumbs up!

      Great tone, but it's not as loud as one might expect. The tone however, is definitely worth the buy.

      Great, but...

      When I opened the box to look at all of the parts, one of the exhaust tips had numerous chips that couldn't be hidden, and the other had a large ding on the top. The box had a hole in it, so I'm assuming this had something to do with it. After calling AM, they fixed the problem by exchanging right away and the exhaust is great. Their great customer service will always keep me coming back. Great exhaust.

      Awesome!

      This catback system is one of the deepest exhausts I've ever heard on a mustang. If you stand behind it, it rumbles in your chest! Fit was good although the m80 mid mufflers are a little tight. The pype bombs fit perfect also. I have absolutely zero rasp or trumpeting with this setup but there is some drone but it's bearable. I've tried every exhaust combo imaginable but this system along with pypes headers and h pipe is the best sounding exhaust I've had!

      Not the loudest, but sounds very refined

      I bought this kit as one of the first upgrades on my 2010 GT and I'm fairly pleased with it. This system won't wake up your entire neighborhood when you go to work in the morning. In reality this system is a rearrangement of the stock system because of the mufflers (which muffle a bit less) being mid-mounted. For about a week I had the stock mufflers off the car so the car was too loud (sounded identical to an F150) and it droned like mad on the highway to the point where the dull sound would give me a headache. Upon my first start up after the installation I noticed that the sound is deeper at idle and the car sounds so much better in the low to mid-range (at 1700-3500RPM). Soon I'll pick up some headers, and maybe replace the mid-mufflers with regular stainless steel pipes to truly unleash the sound. This kit is fantastic for an average joe looking for a more *refined* sound and a bit more punch (sound and power-wise) in the mid-range, not to mention it's a good bang for your buck considering the prices of other similar kits. I haven't tested this theory, but I'm pretty sure you could drive your car with this system whilst severely hungover and it wouldn't be too bad.
