More Power. MBRP's Street Cat-Back Exhaust delivers the ultimate free flowing exhaust by eliminating power robbing restrictions to put more horsepower and torque where it belongs - at the rear wheels. GT and Bullitt models will see an increase of 2 horsepower and 5 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels, where the Shelby GT500 will see an impressive increase of 27 horsepower and 17 lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Durable Stainless Steel Construction. Constructed from 3" diameter 409 stainless steel tubing for strength and corrosion resistance, this MBRP Cat-Back exhaust system features two street mufflers that end with 4" polished 304 stainless steel slant cut exhaust tips. As an added bonus the tips are etched with the "MBRP" logo for true custom styling.

Direct Bolt-On Installation. Engineered to be a direct upgrade replacement for your Mustangs factory exhaust, the MBRP Street Cat-Back Exhaust Kit easily bolts up in the stock location with no modifications required.

Application. This MBRP Street Cat-Back Exhaust Kit is specifically designed to fit the 2005-2009 GT, Bullitt and 2007-2010 GT500 Mustangs.

Great! (But you may need to custom-fit...)

I drive a 09' GT Mustang. The final look of it? Great! The sound? It sounds waaaay quieter than my previous axle-back flowmaster outlaws. It's got some pep in it's step, but it's in no ballpark of "loud" and hardly grumbles, which I kinda miss. The trade off? This puppy has NO DRONE. WHATSOEVER. No matter how hard you rev. And that makes it worth it to me, after hours of a beluga whale moaning it's death groans with my Flowmaster Outlaws. Please note: I had MBRP manufacturer's customer support on the phone, walking through the step-by-step guide with a mechanic, ... but the rear-passenger side muffler hanger didn't fit, at all. Ended up having to cut off the rear hanger and custom-fabricating a new welded piece to fit it. Front hanger was okay. Zero problems with the driver's side, muffler or exhaust though!

        4 2010 GT500 - LRod Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Nice tone

Great sound, great price, easy to install. Pairing it up with Long tubes and a off road X-pipe is the way to go, changespecially tone and adds some power

        5 2005 GT - 123 Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Perfect Dimensions

Probably the only time 3 inches would be considered amazing but this is the ABSOLUTE crowning glory to complete my bolt-on project. Free flowing is the correct description of this system - it will gobble all the intake you give it. Perfect fit with nothing hanging down to distract the visual presentation of the rear view of everything else that matters. The gains experienced were one of those special moments - be sure to hang on to your hat! Also, the perfect sound impact I've been looking for.

I got this exhaust and i never even heard of these guys but lemme tell u this exhaust is great!! Took about two hrs to install and dverything went together easy. The instructions were blurry but its really easy to figure out. I have rear valance on mine that i had to cut out because i had side exhaust and it covered the factory cutouts. I also dont have cats and it sounds great it dont pop and crack around like others ive hear and the stainless 4" tips look great overall a great buy i wish i wouldve done this long ago

I have frrp cams, bbk off road x pipe, stock manifolds. Setup I have is way way way to loud. On a scale compared to outlaws. Are these incredibly loud on start up and wot.

      • On our loudness charts, the MBRP Street Cat-Back Exhaust tends to be quieter than the Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-Back Exhaust, item 393798. The sound will vary from application to application, and can be subjective - so we would highly recommend listening to a few sound clips as well.

What is the difference between this MBRP system and the Race version?

      • The only difference between the two systems is the mufflers that are used. The race mufflers are going to allow for better flow but also be louder.
