This is my second tuner. The first one I owned was the SCT x4. It was a good tuner as well, but this one is quite a bit nicer. The ergonomics are great and the product is attractive to attach to the windshield. Very easy to use, really straight forward, I didn't even have to read anything. I just followed the instructions on the screen and that was it. It is light weight just like the x4 however it is all screen so there is no excess plastic cover that just get in the way. Far more useful as a gauge display. Tune seemed to load faster than my old x4 used to and had no issues with installing the new tune. I like how Bama writes the tune specific for your upgrades. I feel like you are getting the most out of your car that way. They were able to add the custom tunes pretty quickly and I received the tuner in a week. Considering the additional steps, that's not too shabby. I only had one issue and it is known issue with an error code popping right after installing the tune. Following the instructions online and clearing the code I have not seen it sense. That minor hiccup was the only issue during the process. It went smooth as glass. I have not had a chance to put down a 0-60 time, but I can tell just in the throttle response it is quicker. 2-3,000 RPM has a very snappy response. It was quick before, but you can tell it is noticeably quicker. I went early this morning and filled up with 93 octane to try out the 93 race tune. Can feel a little more snap in the seat of my pants with this tune. Looking forward to running some times this weekend and see if it translated into any improvements. In short, I would highly recommend this product to someone looking for a tuner and wanting to use the tuner as an additional gauge cluster. This is about as good as it gets. Not to mention BAMA life time tunes, need I say more. That is an awesome deal. They also send you a sweet little plaque for your car with your name, member number, and BAMA Tune info. Nice little extra. Also, has built in wireless making updating a little easier. All you need is a wireless access point and it makes updating it a snap.
