    Review & Install Video

Hey what’s up guys, Justin here with AmericanMuscle.com, and if you’re looking to complete that smoked appearance with your 2010 and up V6 and GT Mustang, then a blackout deck lid panel might just be the final piece you’re looking for. Now the panel itself is made from glossy, durable acrylic material, as you can see on our car back there it gives it a little more of a stealth like appearance. It would also pair up well with a set of smoked tail lights, or a smoked third brake light. The panel adheres using the supplied 3M adhesive tape which is conveniently already installed for you. However first you’re going to want to go ahead and prep the area using the supplied alcohol swabs provided with the kit. Now when it comes to install make sure to align everything first, make sure it looks perfect on the back of your car before giving it some firm pressure because as we know, once this tape is stuck, it’s on there. This panel is a great option to give the rear end of your 2010 and up V6 and GT Mustang a much more stealthy, aggressive appearance.

Great Styling. Now you can add sleek stealthy styling to your new Mustang with a SpeedForm Rear Translucent Smoked Panel. This panel cover easily and securely attaches to your Mustang's rear deck lid with no drilling or modifications required.

Quality Materials. Made from a durable composolite acrylic material that has a smoked translucent appearance for stealthy styling. This Mustang Rear Blackout Panel will last for years.

Application. This SpeedForm Smoked Translucent Panel fits perfectly on all 2010-2012 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, and Shelby GT500 models.

            Good product

Item arrived fast and the product was made of good quality. I returned it because my white mustang with stripes showed through the smoked translucent design.

            It’s okay but...

The decklid is a little too translucent for my taste. My mustang paint is performance white so the translucency is very obvious. It is hard to keep clean and being from Arizona (a desert state) I have to carry a cloth in the vehicle with me to wipe off the dirt off the decklid every time before I drive off. As soon as I get to my destination it is already dirty again. I honestly think I should’ve gone with the magnetic decklid and saved about $30.

            Looks Great!

Even thought the decklid is transparent, it looked darker once against the car. I wanted it darker, so I painted it black, and clear coated it. It looks awesome, and the gap was hardly noticeable around the badge. I added more 3m tape to be extra secured, and the decklid doesn't budge at all. Overall, the decklid looks great!

Nice look but not sure why it has a clear smoked look instead of being solid black. Easy install

Looks really good except when you wash car it gets some visible moisture behind panel which could bring future defects in the cars paint.

            Not worth for $60

Cutting was bad, worth $10 or less. Cutting on the emblem is way off. Better off with vinyl with bubbles.

            Poor fit

The panel was curved to much causing it to not lay correctly and the center circle cut out was much too large for the GT badge, left a large gap. Item returned.

Looks great! Changes the whole rear when you look at it. I thought it was going to be like completely non-see through but I have a white Mustang. But definitely a good buy!

            Decklid

Very stylish piece. The only issue I have is that the fit of the decklid is slightly large and the adhesive doesn't last very long. Besides that it really helps the car look stealthier and more aggressive.

            Truck Decklid Panel

I thought the decklid would have been super dark but it wasnt I have a white mustang and u could see through the decklid panel. I had to use plasti dip to completely black it out, but it took away of the gloss black effect

Doesn’t Stick well and is transpart

Less than week and corners are peeling, also the panel is transparent not a solid color like you would think. Recommend you just purchase the next step up.

            Not worth it.

Purchased to use with a 13-14 taillight conversion on my 2011 GT500. Got the item, and test fitment wasn't even close. Cutout for decklid emblem poorly cut, scratches in various parts of the panel. Even test fitting, it looked obvious it was a piece of plastic taped to the decklid. If you care about the visual quality of your Mustang, this is a hard pass. A tape on insert will look more appealing than this.
