      Review & Installation Video

Hey I’m Justin with, here with a classic Mustang wheel but with a little bit of a twist, I’m referring to our Bullitt wheels fitting all 94 or newer Mustangs, now available in a solid gloss black or solid matte black. If there’s any one wheel that simply belongs on a Mustang, it has to be the Bullitts, for some reason that iconic 5 spoke deep lip design works so well on these cars, from the classics, all the way to the newer body styles, up until recently your options have been fairly limited, a polished lip with a different color face. Well, now you can add these sinister all black options to that list. Our lightweight aluminum Bullitt wheels are available in a high gloss finish, or a slightly more reduced matte black with a satin clear coat. As for the sizing we’re looking at 17 and 18” diameters, and widths ranging from 8-10 inches. Since these are Bullitts you do have the option of going with that very cool deep dish feature which will give you that nice big lip, all these different options leaves you with a couple of choices, go staggered by sticking a wider wheel and tire on the rear, and if that’s the case you can even exaggerate that stance even more, by sticking a wider deep dish wheel on the rear and a non deep dish wheel up front. On the other hand you can go with a standard fitment by sticking the same width wheel and tire on all 4 corners, which will give you the ability to properly rotate those wheels and tires in the future. You can purchase these wheels by themselves if you like, however if you’re going to need some new rubber to go along with those new wheels, then why not let us do the work for you, we do offer a couple of pre built tire and wheel combinations, where we pair your Bullitts up with some of the top tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your Mustang without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of all that, you get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing and free shipping and handling. Finally all AmericanMuscle wheels are backed by a lifetime structural warranty, and a 1 year warranty on all finishes. Installing a new set of wheels and tires is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, with the use of some basic hand tools and a floor jack. Making sure the car is on level ground first, go ahead and crack those lugs loose before you get the car in the air, once you’ve done that, simply jack the car up, swap out all 4 wheels and tires and that’s it, getting all this done should only take you about an hour from start to finish. Ok, so black wheels rule, we already know this, we also know that Bullitt wheels look great on Mustangs. Put them together, and you have a combination that cannot miss, so be sure to check out a set of all black Bullitts for your ride, right here at

        Beautiful wheels!

All I can write, is they are a great looking wheel and very nice addition to my 04 GT. I do wish they came in the 17x9 in the full matt black though, as the rest of my accents are matt. But the extra bit of shine down low, also works too!

        5 2003 GT - TRACKSTANG

Look great and work well at track days.

Bought the wheels to get more rubber on the road for track days. They worked! Over 1.4g on the data log with Toyo proxis r1rs. They match the stock Bullitt wheels and allow me to run 275/40/17 tires with no issues. The center caps have no issues with melting or crazing like the stock ones do at track days. Oh and they are hub centric without adding spacers.

I noticed that these rims say that they fit for 94-98 mustangs. I am looking for this type of rim for my 2007 mustang. So my question is....will this rim and tire kit fit on my 2007 mustang?

      • This exact kit will not work on your 2007 Mustang as some certain specifications of this kit will not properly fit on your Mustang. You will want a wheel and tire kit that is designated for your 2007 Mustang.

My 2001 Mustang GT is lowered around 3 inches. Will these wheels and tires fit without rubbing the fenders? 1 answer
What Psi should i pump these up to? The tire says max of 51psi but my door says 30psi. 30 seems to low ans 51 seems to high. What should I do? 1 answer
I have an 02 GT and wanted that staggered look with the all black bullitt wheels and big Mickey Thompson's. To be specific I put 275/40-17 tires on 17x9 rims up front and 315/35-17 tires on 17x10.5 rims out back all on the stock suspension. It looks amazing but there is way to much wheel gap between the tires and the fenders. I have noticed that the tires rubbed at full lock steering on certain elevations but want to know how much I can lower it without causing any major rubbing. I found some springs that will lower the rear about 2in and the front about 1.7in and that is exactly what I want but don't know if I can make it work with these massive tires. I don't want to sacrifice to much steering or any tire life and will be getting shocks/struts and caster camber plates. I am willing to purchase the steeda bumpsteer kit but I still want to keep a decent turning radius. I guess my real question is, will the springs that I want to get work and if so what do I need to make them work? If not how low can I go without causing any issues and what will I need to make it work? Thank you! 1 answer
I have a 1996 Mustang GT currently with 17 inch rims on 245/45/17 tires- My goal is to either put these 17x9 bullitt rims on all four tires or if they won't fit my tires, to use current tires on the front with the 17x8 bullits and buy two new tires for the back to fit the 17x9's--so my questions are: will these rims fit my current tires, and will these 17x9 rims fit in the rear without any modifications--or concerns about rubbing, etc? Thanks!! 1 answer

Fitment I have a 2001 Mustang V6 with stock rims and tire size. Not sure about stock dimensions so I am not positive about what all will change. For these tires would I need tuning for speed correction, would I need to worry about clearance since the rear wheels are wider, and how much will this change the driving performance of my car. This car is a "fun" daily driver also, not too performance centered but I am still looking to avoid any negative aspects in performance 2 answers
