Popular Tire Sizes for this Wheel
Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a classic Mustang wheel but with a little bit of a twist, I’m referring to our AmericanMuscle.com Bullitt wheels fitting all 94 or newer Mustangs, now available in a solid gloss black or solid matte black. If there’s any one wheel that simply belongs on a Mustang, it has to be the Bullitts, for some reason that iconic 5 spoke deep lip design works so well on these cars, from the classics, all the way to the newer body styles, up until recently your options have been fairly limited, a polished lip with a different color face. Well, now you can add these sinister all black options to that list. Our lightweight aluminum Bullitt wheels are available in a high gloss finish, or a slightly more reduced matte black with a satin clear coat. As for the sizing we’re looking at 17 and 18” diameters, and widths ranging from 8-10 inches. Since these are Bullitts you do have the option of going with that very cool deep dish feature which will give you that nice big lip, all these different options leaves you with a couple of choices, go staggered by sticking a wider wheel and tire on the rear, and if that’s the case you can even exaggerate that stance even more, by sticking a wider deep dish wheel on the rear and a non deep dish wheel up front. On the other hand you can go with a standard fitment by sticking the same width wheel and tire on all 4 corners, which will give you the ability to properly rotate those wheels and tires in the future. You can purchase these wheels by themselves if you like, however if you’re going to need some new rubber to go along with those new wheels, then why not let us do the work for you, we do offer a couple of pre built tire and wheel combinations, where we pair your Bullitts up with some of the top tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your Mustang without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of all that, you get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing and free shipping and handling. Finally all AmericanMuscle wheels are backed by a lifetime structural warranty, and a 1 year warranty on all finishes. Installing a new set of wheels and tires is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, with the use of some basic hand tools and a floor jack. Making sure the car is on level ground first, go ahead and crack those lugs loose before you get the car in the air, once you’ve done that, simply jack the car up, swap out all 4 wheels and tires and that’s it, getting all this done should only take you about an hour from start to finish. Ok, so black wheels rule, we already know this, we also know that Bullitt wheels look great on Mustangs. Put them together, and you have a combination that cannot miss, so be sure to check out a set of all black Bullitts for your ride, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

All I can write, is they are a great looking wheel and very nice addition to my 04 GT. I do wish they came in the 17x9 in the full matt black though, as the rest of my accents are matt. But the extra bit of shine down low, also works too!Helpful (1)

Look great and work well at track days.
Bought the wheels to get more rubber on the road for track days. They worked! Over 1.4g on the data log with Toyo proxis r1rs. They match the stock Bullitt wheels and allow me to run 275/40/17 tires with no issues. The center caps have no issues with melting or crazing like the stock ones do at track days. Oh and they are hub centric without adding spacers.Helpful (1)

Will a 235/45R17 fit on the 17*9 ??
Yes, the 235/45/17 can work with a 17x7.5-9" wheel.
Will the 17x9 inch rim fine 245/45 r 17 tire for the front And a 17x10 rim fit 275/40r17 tire on the rear I already have a set of tires and looking for rims
That wheel/tire set-up will fit the front and rear of the 94'-04' Mustangs.
What is the offset of these rims?
The offset for the 17x9 Bullitt black wheel is +30mm (1.18") and for the 17x10.5 deep dish wheel, the offset is +28mm (1.10").
What is the weight per rim for the 17x9 bullitt?
This 17x9 Bullitt Wheel weighs 22.5 pounds.
I noticed that these rims say that they fit for 94-98 mustangs. I am looking for this type of rim for my 2007 mustang. So my question is....will this rim and tire kit fit on my 2007 mustang?
This exact kit will not work on your 2007 Mustang as some certain specifications of this kit will not properly fit on your Mustang. You will want a wheel and tire kit that is designated for your 2007 Mustang. https://www.americanmuscle.com/2005wheels.html#shop-by1
You should not encounter any fitment issues with this wheel and tire kit on a 95 GT with a drop of 1.75". We verify good fitment on our wheel and tire kits for up to a 2 inch drop for the appropriate year selected.
American Muscle test fits all of our wheel and tires and guarantees fitment without rubbing up to 2". With your Mustang lowered approximately 3", we cannot guarantee fitment.
It's best to go off of what your door/the owners manual says.
What we have found is that as long as you are not going lower than 2" from the factory height you should not run into any issues. As far as the steering issue, a bump steer kit should definitely help out with that. When lowering your car I always recommend either camber bolts or a castor camber plate kit to help with the alignment of the vehicle which will need to be done after installation of the lowering springs.
A 245/45 would be a sufficient size tire to use on both a 17x8 and a 17x9 wheel and there should not be any rubbing with the Bullit Solid Black Wheel, unless the vehicle has been lowered significantly.
Hi,A 245/40/17 will fit on these Bullitt Solid Black Wheel - 17x9 but i suggest using a 255/40/17 for a better fit and look.
Yes, the front 17x9 wheels are non-deep dish and the rear 17x10.5 wheels are deep dish.
It should fit perfectly, it' gets better traction for sure and the look it gives your car is a must.
Simple installation for anyone.
